“Amazing food, great hotel”

We had a fantastic family holiday at this hotel. We have 2 kids, ages 3 and 1. We all loved the beach right on the doorstep and the pools were fun too. The best thing though was the food, the buffet offering was amazing every meal, with food from all over the world and local cuisine too. This very much felt like a Spanish resort, which we really enjoyed (felt like we were really on holiday!). One thing to note about this though is the meal times are also Spanish.. so dinner starting from 730 was an adjustment for us and the kids, but we did manage. We booked a junior suit with one double bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge, which we slept on. The sofa bed was pretty comfortable for a sofa bed, but was still a sofa bed.. so if I did it again I would book a room with 2 bedrooms. Hotel was well cleaned and staff were friendly. Would highly recommend for an easy, all inclusive family holiday.

We have mixed feelings about this hotel. First of all the good points. It is good for families with small children. We can't complain about the pool area, plenty of sunbeds although they could do with a bit of a scrub, but it was towards the end of the season. Room great, we paid extra for a sea view but was upgraded with a junior suite. This was ok except it was directly over the children's play area and not far from the evening entertainment and as the glass stopped no noise at all it was extremely noisy. We found the bed very comfortable. The cleaning of the rooms wasn't exceptional although towels were regularly changed I don't think the floors were mopped. Food was surprisingly good even though we don't eat meat, although could be hotter and they don't seem to season the soup. One of the bathroom lights didn't work which made it hard to do make up etc, we asked for it to be changed and were promised it would be done, five days later it still hadn't been changed. The area is lovely if you like it quiet (which we do), miles of beach and a lovely promenade. The big downside for us and the reason we wouldn't return is there is no bar in the hotel. We had to go to the other side of the pool (in the pouring rain and wind) and it was more like a canteen with not enough seats. No inside toilets near the bar. We like to relax before dinner with a drink in the bar, you couldn't do that here. Drinks are served in almost pint hard plastic beakers, wine is almost topped up to the top which isn't very appealing. Spirits are spoilt with loads of fizzy lemonade/coke etc. To get into the dining room you need to go outside which isn't pleasant in wet, windy weather. We are not fussed with entertainment but with no nice bar to sit in there is nothing to do. All in all I think it's a lovely hotel, good location and good food and great for families but unfortuately because of the bar situation we will not be back.

We have been in this hotel the week it was closing down after the summer season ending. It normally closes down in October and opens in March again. The rooms are spacious but beds are very uncomfortable and have flat pillows. It has a kitchenette but very basic. Enough if you have a FB or AI regime. The room view to the pool/ sea is beautiful. The pools are really big and clean. Great pool for kids as well. The drinks in the all inclusive regime are very basic and you are mainly served cheap brands as you can see on pics download. Better to drink Cava at least is not something dodgy. Most of AI hotels have decent drinks but this one is quite poor. Wine is like tap wine again very cheap. Not really acceptable as normally you should have some bottled wines to chose from. Beer is Estrella so quite good. Food is OK. Lacks of salt and seasoning with many choices but repetitive. Breakfast is delicious and loads of choices. The hotel is not prepared for rainy days as you always have to go out to access the restaurant/SPA/BARS and therefore you get all wet and cold as in October if not boiling hot!!! INDOOR POOL NOT INCLUDED - again not acceptable if you are AI. Never seen this before in many hotels I have been all around the world. Beach is just across so very accessible and the beach is great! Overall it is good for the summer. But not good for rainy season. Will not come back as there is better choices in Isla Canela which is nearby!
