Due to work I had to stay a month in this hotel. I had a really nice time here. Friendly staff. Nice restaurant with a wonderful breakfast every day. Sundays even possible to breakfast till 14.00 hrs. Hotel offers every day 6 free drinks in your room fridge. Where do you get that? Supermarket next door. Few restaurants in short walking distance. A bit further you're in the old town center with plenty restaurants. Thanks for your hospitality.

In general the hotel was good! But one of the employee was extremely not friendly at all and hope she will see my review! I booked 3 nights in your hotel to the 23rd up to the 26 of December on the name of Overson (room 111). My first night i’v booked it on booking.com so when I arrived you took me 96€ (normal up to now), than I booked 2 other nights, directly in the hotel! You asked me to pay the totality of the 3 nights the second day! Thing that I didn’t understand because the first night you already blocked me 96€ on my bank account! Than you told me that you have cancelled those 96€ and I will get the money back! This lady told me « I know my job and it’s not you who will teach me what to do »! If you really knew your job you would a take those 96€ that you blocked of my account the first night and not cancel it! A cause of this, you left a 19years old french guy (me) lonely in the street freezing as hell for a whole night, because I didn’t had enough money to pay another night! I had it but it was blocked of my account! If you would really knew your job, you should know that customers are king and you shouldn’t be agressif with them. I’v been really polite and even excused my self for wasting your time because I didn’t understood why you blocked me those 96€ at the beginning without using them and facture me the 3 nights! Conclusion, I finally think that you should go back to school or take special lessons to learn your job better! Because your actions clearly ment that I was stupid! And you thrown me out of the hotel because of your mistake! Next time you say to your customers that there shouldn’t teach you your job be carful at who you say it! Because I’m only 19 but already worked in french 5 stars hotel! So your job who was my job, and my school course (passed with success) I know it and you proved to me that I know it better than you! Otherwise, thank you to all the other employees, who manage to reply to all my other requests! Thank you to all the cleaners who kept my room and the rest of the hotel really clean! “Clean, Sparse, Bright Dining Room, Rude Manager”

We spent a day and night at this hotel which is across the river from the city of Passau which is charming. The rooms are fine, clean but not fancy. The service is minimal and the manager was direct to the point of rudeness. It was either a bad day or the wrong job! We spent the afternoon in town and wanted a nice and cozy dinner as the weather was cool and rainy. The dining room is bright, which is great for breakfast but not for dinner unless that suits. We asked the rude manager for options and was abruptly given the name of a delightful restaurant nearby called La Torre which was a warm restaurant with delicious Italian food. When we asked if we could leave our bags after check out the following morning, we were abruptly directed to an unlocked room near but not visible to the reception area. As it seemed less than safe, we took our bags and departed. I would not stay at this hotel again unless there were no other clean hotels in nearby locations.

We usually need to stay in Passau and stayed here more then once. We were staying at the back of the hotel for quietness. However, the terrace and the balcony door were both dirty and even the cigarette end were left in the astray! We tried to put the heating on but it did not worked. I was not comfortable during the night as I was cold. The floor is very cold this time of the year and could do with some small carpet as you get out of bed. Parking is Euro 10 per night. We also did not have the breakfast and I suggest that the hotel should cater for an option of a cup of coffee and a pastry.
