Vacker lobby och rum. Lyxiga handdukar och lakan. Receptionisten talar engelska. Detta är ett mycket trevligt hotell. Just avslutat byggandet 2012, jag hör. Det enda dessa oxidbärare nackdelen platser jag ger är eftersom bara lobbyn har wi-fi, inte rummen; och eftersom lobbybaren listor en Singapore mitella på deras cocktailmeny, men ingen av bartendrarna vet hur man gör det. Dessutom, som jag har hittat på alla andra restauranger på vår resa hittills, jag kan inte köpa viner på glas. Det är bara säljs av flaskan. Jag antar att de inte får tillräckligt med kunder för vin för att inleda en flaska för en person. Nåväl, jag antar att jag får hålla mig till "ergoutou" (Kinesiska vodka -- mycket stark). Jag visste inte att frukost ingick när jag bokade mitt rum. Detta var en trevlig överraskning; och det visade sig vara en komplett frukostbuffé, kinesisk och västerländsk frukost, inte bara några vanligt bröd och frukt!

“Great hotel - even potable water”

The rooms were comfortable and well laid-out. It’s the only hotel I’ve ever seen in China with a potable water spigot. They also supplied bottled water. The breakfast had a good mix of both Chinese and Western food. They even had donuts. On the 2nd morning, I had to leave before the breakfast area opened. A my Chinese friend’s mother had them prepare a breakfast to go. They were very generous with the amount of food they gave me. The room’s rug was a little dirty, but otherwise the room was clean. The only problem I had was with the power. As with many Chinese hotels, you insert your room card to activate power to the room. It worked the very 1st time, but after that I couldn’t get it to work. A manager came up to my room and showed how to jam the card in to get it to work. However, about a minute after he left, it shut off again. Fortunately, there was just enough ambient light for me to make it to the door (it was disconcerting). I realized I had to jam 2 cards in in order to keep the power on. Hence, if you stay here, ask for 2 room cards. I spoke with the staff in both English and Chinese and their English skills seemed good. My room's Wifi worked without a problem. I slept very well in the room.
