“Big and furnished apartment, big terrace, close to the beach”

The location is really comfortable: a big room, a well furnished kitchen and a big terrace to relax on. The location is really comfortable: a big room, a well furnished kitchen and a big terrace to relax on. The rooms are three minutes away from a long and beautiful beach and from shops and restaurants. Birds singing all day and beautiful nature surrounding the place. Everyone is kind and helpful. Breakfast not included but easy to prepare at home! I suggest a stay.

“Excellent hostess, lovley beach within 1 min walk BUT stingrays!”

The hostess (Antonia?) was super serviceminded. She helped us with restaurant bookings, taxis, transfers, guided tours. The hostess (Antonia?) was super serviceminded. She helped us with restaurant bookings, taxis, transfers, guided tours. And on our daughther 15th birthday she arranged with beautiful flowers, candy and a birthday bedding in her room. So cute! We stayed here for five nights. In rooms 4,5,6 and 7. The rooms were nicely cleaned but the interior was a bit worn down. In one of the rooms there was a bad smell and in one room there were coackroaches on the floor one night. The breakfast was good. Toast, egg, yoghurt, cerials, fruit, juice and coffe/tea. The location is close to the beach, only a minute bare foot walk. Unfortunately one of us got stung by a stingray on the beach the first day. Ambulance and several hospital visits… and pain!! The doctor said that they often get patients with stingray accidents from that beach. They said they would NEVER go swimming there…

We were a large group and at the time of our booking, the hotel was at full occupancy. First of all, we didn't get the rooms we had opted for. The lady who welcomed us was quite nice however she wasn't very helpful because she could not help us with the water heater problem (it was not working and we showered with cold water) and she made a few mistakes on calculating our bill (undercharging us until we pointed out the errors). She did prepare some nice fresh welcoming juices which was quite refreshing and led us to our rooms. I was sharing with my colleague and I was the first to notice that the room was generally clean except for the bathroom, the toilet bowl was dirty and there were no amenities. Luckily the shop is only a 3minutes walk away and opens until quite late in the evening. There is a small pathway from the hotel that leads to the beach but that pathway is also close to a sewage discharge and the smell is not so pleasing after a heavy meal. The Chalets are strategically located because it is close to several restaurants and shops- beware of the prices though! I was upset to shower with cold water the next morning and still did no. To my surprise breakfast was delivered and not prepared at the hotel. Nonetheless the croissant was warm and freshly baked. The breakfast was French i.e. fruits, toast and pastries only. All in all, the stay was not so bad except for the small issues but I do note that it was quite affordable despite being such a busy period of the year.
