“Absolute pleasure”

From the moment we arrived until our departure the whole experience was great. Lovely hotel with fantastic staff. Little bottle of champagne in the room the night we left was a special touch. Great views across the bay from our room and great location.

Wonderful location with a superb view overlooking the Marina and the Mallorcan sunset. Wonderful location with a superb view overlooking the Marina and the Mallorcan sunset. Rooms were immaculate and the staff were excellent and very, very welcoming, going out of their way to help us with any queries. Lovely rooftop pool with nice bar. Within 15 minutes walk of the Cathedral and the Old town. Close to Santa Catalina and great restaurants. Family room was spacious with lovely balcony overlooking the Marina. Great experience, would highly recommend.

Hotel was in a great location about 15 minutes walk into the old town and with fantastic views. We had a side sea view room which was not big 12 sq m but perfectly adequate for us. Hotel was in a great location about 15 minutes walk into the old town and with fantastic views. We had a side sea view room which was not big 12 sq m but perfectly adequate for us. Bed was comfortable and shower was good. There was a small fridge which had cans of water in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Road appears busy but sound proofing is good and once inside the room you couldn’t hear traffic. We were on the sixth floor- I don’t think I would have wanted to be any lower. We did all the old town, the cathedral and the train to Sóller which was a great experience. Would stay here again but probably only in a premium room. Be warned that there are lots of works just outside the hotel but that is obviously not the fault of the hotel.

The hotel was clean, modern, and bright. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. We changed our room at the last minute from one facing the back to one with a balcony looking over to the vast marina. We were pleased that we did as we woke to beautiful sunshine and the city coming alive with joggers, cyclists, etc, on the track, which runs the length of the marina. Location wise, a fifteen minute walk will take you to the beautiful Old Town, with its wealth of shops, cafes, and bars. The downside of the location was the noise from roadworks as the full length of paving was being renewed. It's hardly the fault of the hotel. There is a sundeck looking across to the marina, too, with a small pool, jacuzzi, sunbeds, and cafe/cocktail bar. This area was fairly quiet as it was still early in the season. We would certainly recommend The Hotel Costa Azul and shall return to see more of Palma!
