“Great amenities, always reliable”

This is probably the 10th time I’ve been to Sunset Beach. It always has great facilities and the staff are always helpful and friendly with a smile. We were originally put in a room on the 6th floor near the bar. We don’t use the bar so the noise was too much at night. We asked to move room and it was no trouble at all and we were moved to a room on the 11th floor which was much quieter. The only issue I ever have is that you do hear a lot, e.g. people walking by your room, people in the rooms beside and above. There is no soundproofing. It’s not too much of an issue unless you’re in a well used area which we weren’t when we moved. We would prefer if smoking was banned around the pool area as so many people light up right beside you and you can’t really move if the sunbeds are all taken. However these are relatively minor issues. Overall Sunset Beach is a lovely holiday destination with so many amenities, friendly staff and close to town. We will definitely be returning in the near future!

Stayed in a 2 bed apartment, was clean spacious big TVs in each room, ample kitchen and space for 2 adults and 3 kids. Room and hotel was really clean and well attended to by all members of staff. Was bed only, so only had breakfast one day in the hotel which was average. Pool areas were lovely, clean, loads of space and beds. Pool was 19deg which was lovely and refreshing without being Baltic. Activities and entertainment were good, Paella cooking class poolside with wine was really fun and staff were lovely. Price was right for the week and would definitely recommend and return. Price

“Lovely Week Holiday”

Lovely family holiday, weather was sunny and warm. Staff were very friendly and efficient. It would be so good to have a heated pool and the lifts modernised just to add to the whole experience. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms very clean. Good food and bar service.

A family break for spring sunshine. The hotel is in a good spot with walks nearby and town not far. The hotel was clean and welcoming We were lucky to stay on the 2nd floor which meant less waiting about for the lifts. Our room was spacious, and cleaned daily. We never used the TV but did use the kitchenette which was well stocked. The pools were lovely and felt clean. Pool bar and ice creams were expensive but good choice for not moving! We did sometimes find the hotel noisy in the evening, outside entertainment plus banging doors late. The food at the terrace restaurant was great and we enjoyed an evening here. We visited some great spots in the area and the Sunset was a great starting place.
