Although many features of this property are acceptable, such as the quality of the air conditioning , the supply of breakfast foods and comfort of the beds, others are less so. Our hotel clerk was irritated when we alerted him to our malfunctioning room refrigerator, our room had no luggage rack, and the toilet leaked water at the floor level. The only elevator’s placement requires guests to pull luggage through the middle of the narrow breakfast nook area to reach it. This hotel is probably fine for one night, but I would recommend an alternative for a longer stay.

“Older property but management makes up for it with friendliness”

Management is very kind, friendly, accommodating, and professional. Apparently, some rooms have mini-frigs/freezer but my room's mini-frig lacked a freezer. Management very kindly kept my freezer packs in their own freezer. The hotel is an older property. It's clean but frayed at the edges. It's located on the north end of town near Lake Hastings, which is bordered by a lovely park to walk in. If you don't want fast food, the Blue Fork Kitchen is about 1/2 mile away where food is well prepared and reasonably healthy. Tip: the hotel is located on a well-traveled road; ask for a quiet room on the opposite side of the road.

“Overpriced”

We stayed here during a family wedding as it was the reserved hotel. This was the only hotel available as the little league softball championships sold out the town. We stayed here during a family wedding as it was the reserved hotel. This was the only hotel available as the little league softball championships sold out the town. So if you travel end of June there may be a lot of kids running around. When we came in room there were stains on one set of sheets and the toilet clogged. The staff immediately came and gave us sheets as the housekeeper had left and fixed toilet. We changed sheets. They left the plunger. Later on I saw another guest carrying a plunger to her room. She mentioned that another guest has a plumbing issue as well. Overall I could see lots of cleaning going on throughout the day. My main complaint is the price. This room was $200 a night plus tax and fees. It should have been $70 on a typical week and maybe $125 with the room shortage in town. We did not try breakfast as it was so crowded. I think the room was basically clean if you stay here
