“Fantastic place to stay, highly recommended.”

Long weekend in Valencia. I chose this hotel due to its location, reasonable price, pool & rooms with balconies. Unfortunately my booking agents (lastminute.com) made it seem I was booking a balcony room but when I got to the hotel they had given us a basement room. Lastminute.com were less than helpful clearing up the misunderstanding, however the hotel were fabulous, moving us the day after to a lovely balcony room, which did overlook the back (parking & apartment blocks) this was actually better as the front is onto a busy main road! Facilities were fabulous, all staff welcoming & friendly, room was cleaned every day, toiletries provided (although no conditioner). We didn't book for breakfast as we don't eat it, so can't comment on that! Had pool to ourselves most of the time & it was small but adequate, clean & sauna was nice. Situation was perfect as in middle between museums/oceanographic & main city centre, about 20 min walk to each & bus to beach was 1.50€, every 10 mins. Would definitely come again.

“A trip to Valencia”

The hotel is on very good location. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. You can store yoir laguage on the last day at reception for free. In the hotel room you can find shampoo, shower gel, lotion, a pocket of tissues, television, fridge, hair dryer and two pillows (one softer and one normal)... more

The hotel is on very good location. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. You can store yoir laguage on the last day at reception for free. In the hotel room you can find shampoo, shower gel, lotion, a pocket of tissues, television, fridge, hair dryer and two pillows (one softer and one normal). The breakfast was good with lot of option (fruit, eggs, pastries, fresh juice, different bread, jams, ...). There are just really thin walls, you can hear a lot was is going on in the next room or in the hall. Across the street you have a bus station and supermarket is 3 minutes walking.

I'll start with the HUGE negative. We were travelling for my wife's 50th birthday so we paid extra to stay in a room with a terrace and what we actually got was a tiny, badly and cheaply decorated room in the attic with paper thin walls and a 2mx2m outside area partitioned with chicken wire and fake grass and no view at all except a patch of night sky. The young couple in the next room were so noisy that that we demanded another room at 1.30am. The walls were so thin that it honestly sounded like they were "doing it" on OUR bed! They'd clearly learned their technique from "the movies" cause her clichéd affirmative screams were hilarious... for a while. A word to the wise boys: if she has to make so much noise assuring you that you're doing it right, you're probably not! Imagine our surprise/bemusement, then, when we were moved to a "cheaper" room on a lower floor which was twice the size, much more salubriously decorated and actually had a proper balcony. On the plus side, we were refunded a full day's parking (the princely sum of €16), for our inconvenience. Two days later, as we passed reception, another dissenting guest was complaining that "that is NOT a terrace". Honestly, I doubt that any guest would be satisfied with their stay in one of those "premium" rooms, with the exception of corny "porn couple", obviously. On the plus side, our three nights in the much better "cheaper" room was far more pleasant, with actual walls and no noise from adjoining rooms. Location was in a quieter side of the city, just over a kilometer away from the start of the city centre: a pleasant enough walk. Breakfast could best be described as just about adequate if you don't mind cold hot food (which is limited to just three items, daily) and you have 15 minutes to spare (of your allotted 45 minutes breakfast slot) to toast your bread using the toaster Noah threw out when he finally reached dry land. Thanks Casual de Las Artes for making our celebration trip such a memorable one.

We had been touring in our camper van and decided to stay in a hotel for a night, it was my wife’s birthday. The main reason we chose this hotel was the secure car park. Which can also be reserved in advance. The location was also good 15 minutes walk to the centre. We paid extra for a room with a balcony. It just wasn’t good and we didn’t use it, nothing like the one we saw pictures of. We we’re generally happy with the room otherwise, the hotel is very clean. Breakfast is a buffet with some hot food options. It was a bizarre experience though. It was busy, there only seemed to be one young lady in attendance. She was clearing tables, there were no cups available at the coffee machine. I asked her for a cup and it was obvious she was busy and stressed as her reaction was not a good one. However after a couple of minutes I got a cup and used the coffee machine. This is when I noticed that there were no plates. I stood for a few minutes hoping some would either turn up or someone else would ask her for some. After 3 or 4 minutes I was frustrated at the situation and decided not to have breakfast. I asked at reception for a refund on the breakfast. I received the refund on checking out and the receptionist apologised. I would only stay here again if I was in a vehicle as that was a big plus but there were these other negative issues which left me feeling like this was not a good stay.
