“Nice and clean”

It was a pit stop because of the rain, and it was a very nice suprise. Very cosy and clean, and with an excellent price. Totally recommend it. Besides, Cordillero it's worth a visit. Astúrias is a wonderful place to visit, full of magical places, and things to do.

A lovely little hotel which has been sympathetically renovated. Outside seating area, lovely lounge and dining room, good size bedroom with very comfortable large bed, good bathroom with toiletries and hairdryer. Parking on site. Good choice at breakfast. Excellent restaurant nearby. Free wifi throughout A charming walk down the steps into the village of Cudillero and the views are not to be missed. On the pilgrims route to Santiago de Compestella Visit the Selgas palace and the church near the hotel

“Flexible and Friendly”

Stayed for 3 nights, which was a change from the originally booked 5 nights as it was going to be a base for exploring northern Spain coastline. Stayed for 3 nights, which was a change from the originally booked 5 nights as it was going to be a base for exploring northern Spain coastline. Breakfast was 5 euros which was paid in cash at the end of the stay - it was OK, for the price, and saved us finding it ourselves.. food was a variety of cakes/croissants/bread, yogurt, some cereals, and fruit - but in the end worth paying the extra. We had 3 in a room which was tight for space - in one of the front first floor rooms... the furniture was a bit aged, but our most frustrating thing was a sound on 2 of the nights - one at 2am, then multiple times from 6am another night - we initially thought it was an alarm, though was a high pitch whistle - in the end we put it down to the pipework - and perhaps someone having a shower prior to walking in the morning - however, woke us all up - so had 2 disturbed nights. The traffic outside could be noisy, though used to it. Cleaners were all fine, and the host or colleague was virtually always around the house for any assistance. Wifi was available though was a bit slow!! The downside is that it is outside Cudillero, which is only 20min walk into town - though you avoid all the traffic problems going in/out. We are a couple of times at a local restaurant just 150m from the hotel. Parking was easily available on the other side of the road and was safe.

A lovely hotel 2km from Cudillero (very close!) with easy parking, free wifi and breakfast (at an extra cost). Heating was central and very high - we had open the windows at night. The bed was comfortable but with springs so not for everyone. Rooms were very clean and nicely decorated in accordance with the general "rustic charm" feel. The bathroom carpet was dangerously slippery - I suggest you not use it at all. Towels smelt clean but had a strange ammonia smell. There was no handsoap. Staff was helpful if not overly warm. Very environmentally friendly. I didn't completely appreciate the initiative in which the hotel donated 1 euro to NGOs for every "excellent" rating it got on Tripadvisor. Overall a good one night stop for travellers!
