We stayed at this hotel for Christmas 2025 and new year (8 nights). We chose this hotel due to the decent swimming pool and sunbathing areas. We did the usual price comparison site search but ended up booking with the hotel direct as it was a bit cheaper. We used one of airport taxis to arrive at the hotel and the journey time was approx. 35 minutes and cost $30 (cash only no card machine). Check in was swift and the reception team members spoke English. There were 3 lifts in operation, and we didn’t have to wait long for one. There is an ATM in reception it charged a $7.50 withdrawal fee. There a plenty of other ATMs just outside the hotel grounds. The room allocated was on the third floor, Corridors smelt a bit smoky and musky but after a few days we got used to it. We were allocated a pool/river facing room. Windows were locked but you could get them opened if you signed a waiver at reception. The room was commodious and had a large double bed (it wasn’t two beds pushed together) which was comfortable. We had arranged for an iron and iron board to be provided prior to arrival. Kettle, cups, glasses, coffee/tea sachets, safe, 2 x bath robes and 2 x slippers, mini fridge and hairdryer were provided as standard. Plenty of channels on the TV to chose from and Wi-Fi worked excellent throughout the hotel and pool areas. There was plenty of storage, mirrors and sockets (some of the sockets were a mixture of EU ones and English ones) and the air con worked well (not loud and kept the room cool). 2 large bottles of complimentary drinking water are provided daily. Bathroom could do with a bit of a makeover, but the shower water pressure and water temperature were both excellent. Vanity sets, shower gel and shampoo are provided. There is a retractable washing line above the bath. Housekeeping attended the room daily and ensured we had clean towels. Walls are very thin. You can hear noise in the corridors and noise coming from the surrounding occupants. They also put a band on during the evening at the garden restaurant and it was so loud, we tried having a siesta before our late-night return flight and couldn’t manage it as the noise from the band was so bad (even with earplugs you could still hear it). We loved the pool area. It got the sun from sunrise (rises from river) until about 3.45pm. After 3.45pm it was at the front of the property, which was prefect for getting the happy hours drinks in at the hotel bar where we would sit and chill on the tables and chairs outside. There was always sunbeds available. There is a cupboard near the pool where clean pool towels were provided and a bin to put any used towels in (towels were always replenished). Pool is open 6am to 9pm. On the night we arrived there were no towels, but we went down into the spa area where we managed to locate some. There were 14 sunbeds in total which all had a comfy mattress, table and umbrella. There were also a few seats near the bar area. There was a smoking area and a few bins for any rubbish. QR codes are provided on the tables where you can order drinks, food and refreshments. Didn’t use the spa but there was a sauna in each of the male and female areas. Gym is located under the pool area. Breakfast was included with the price and was open 6am to 10am. The breakfast was very tasty and we enjoyed it. There was an egg station for omelettes, scrambled eggs and boiled eggs, salad, fruit, boiled rice, fried rice, noodles, pastries, bread, croissants, coffee machine, chicken sausage, roasted potatoes, yogurts etc. We visited the hotel restaurant one night (Garden restaurant), the restaurant was al a carte and mosquito spray was provided on each table. The food was decently priced for a hotel and there were daily promotions available. One of us ordered the pad Thai ($5) and one of us had the beef tenderloin ($10). It was $4 for a cocktail, $1 for Cambodian draft beer and $5 for Cambodian draft jug of beer. We utilised the daily happy hour at the hotel Cambodian bar 3pm till 6pm. This was a nice way to finish off the day and catch some late afternoon sun on the outside seats/tables. Happy hour featured buy one get one free on cocktails ($4). Location wise the hotel is in a decent position. There is a shop located to the left of the hotel, but it was never open when we wanted to use it. We ended up having to walk further afield to the Super-Duper store (about 15-minute walk) or the seven eleven (another 15-minute walk). We tended to frequent the Irish bar the Wild Rover and the River crown/grand river sports bar on a night. We paid $3 for a baby Guinness and $4.75 (£3.50) for a pint of Guinness. We also ate at the Indigo Indian restaurant just round the corner and including a starter dish, 2 mains, 1 rice, 1 chips, 1 naan, 2 beers, 1 gin and tonic the bill came to less then $20. Several massage parlours around charging $5 for an hour message. Please note that the main currency being used was the US Dollar. We withdrew Cambodian money at the airport ATM, and it was a bit of a struggle to use it. Taxi drivers all wanted dollars. The restaurants and shops all have the prices in dollar. If we ever go to Cambodia in the future, we will just get US dollars changed. Overall, we pleased we selected this hotel. It was the excellent pool area and sunbathing area that we were impressed with. The hotel itself is a bit outdated, but it’s just cosmetic and we didn’t let that spoil our stay. The staff were all friendly and hardworking and we just want to say thank you.

I had a very relaxing stay, and Piseth (at the reception) was very accomodating and warm making me feel like this place is an extension of my parents’ home. Although the facilities are a bit outdated, but the staff gave a very warm service. If you are a solo traveller who just wants to relax( sleep all day, lounge by the pool or enjoy the sauna steam facilities, I would recommend this place. Get the room with a view by the river. The glimpse of the sunrise by is amazing. I jut wish that the hotel would atleast provide electrical outlet with USB port, and update their TV connection(for netflix chill).

i have just recently spent 11 days at this hotel as a solo travelor and i would recommend it to you, the pool is divine and open late , the gym and sauna are very nice and clean , the hotel is in a good location near the river and a nice walk into the main area , the staff here are both friendly and very professional, housekeeping was very good and breakfast was great i would recommend it as a great place to stay in PP

“A renovation would not go amiss.”

Impressive hotel when pulling up outside. Reception very nice, if a little slow. Welcome drink was tasted & quickly put down (not the best). We arrived early, but room was ready. Room needs a renovation, the photos are from when it was first built & certainly not a representation of how it is. Clean, but dated. Would stay again but feel there are possible other options.
