This Hotel is amazing, loved it from stepping out of the taxi, staff where fantastic always smiling and pleasant, they even helped my husband arrange champagne and fruit to our room for anniversary through email communications without me knowing, food was fantastic loads of choices, bar staff friendly and inviting, and our room was cleaned everyday and kept beautiful.

“Great visit”

We really enjoyed the vacation, nice hotel with inside wellness so with colder weather it is also very good choice. The breakfast gives a big variety, the coffee is unfortunately on the lower level. The room was very well maintained and clean.

The choice of food for breakfast and dinner is particularly impressive! Spa treatments are quite expensive though, so we opted for the much cheaper treatments available from various establishments along the front.

We stayed here for 12 nights in a superior double room half board, as this came with bathrobes, slippers, complimentary mini bar with soft drinks and snacks, free wi-fi and access to the spa. I requested a room with a sunny balcony. Our request for a sunny balcony had not been met which was a little bit disappointing considering the length of our stay but did not actually affect our stay at this hotel. We arrived early to our hotel at 11.30 am and our room was ready so we could check in. On entering our room we were disappointed to find no bathrobe or slippers, no snacks, only a couple of soft drinks, no bottle opener to open them, only half a toilet roll left from previous stay, telephone did not work, we had a note left by the maid to say your room has been prepared by me. We had to go down to reception as we could not ring them to explain that none of the items had been left in our room. The reception staff were brilliant and rectified this as soon as possible and we were given a voucher for 2 complimentary Cava's. After the first 2 nights we had a change of maid and our new lady was amazing, she regularly filled up our soft drinks and left various snacks. There was a very nice coffee pod machine in the rooms with no instructions on how to use it so I did not bother with this. The majority of the hotel guests were German in varying ages, there were only a handful of UK residents but we did not find this to be a problem at all. The staff were lovely in all areas of the hotel and particularly in the restaurant area from the managers, waiting staff and chefs. We thought the variety of food offered was absolutely amazing particularly breakfast, the selection of fresh breads, pastries, fruit was stunning. The hot breakfast food has a good selection, yes the sausages were mainly aimed at the German clientele but there was so much extra food available this wasn't a problem. The chef cooking the fresh eggs was lovely and these were the best griddled eggs we have ever eaten as they were well cooked with a crispy white around the eggs and a lovely runny yoke, the bacon was more like sliced ham/gammon but again this was very good. They also had a good way of dispensing the jams and a big variety of flavours, the coffee machines were perfect and gave a really nice coffee with a good choice. The evening meal had an amazing selection offering a varied salad bar each night, soup, pizza section, fresh pasta section with a selection of sauces, the only downside to the mains were the meats and fish offered which were mainly overcooked and the carvery joint occasionally had a very odd choice for example a turkey breast, which was a pre rolled purple looking thing that bore no resemblance to meat. There was a bit of a language barrier when asking what meat and fish were being cooked as they did not know the English for it only German and Spanish. The dessert section was absolutely gorgeous with a huge selection of cakes, tarts, fruit, jellies, ice creams etc. I think we ate a bit too many of these as they were so lovely. This hotel has the biggest restaurant we have ever experienced with approx 100 tables, it does have a canteen feel to it but the tables, chairs and table settings are of a good quality compared to other hotels we have stayed in. The staff work incredibly hard to serve guests with drinks, clear tables, keep the food topped up. There are very busy periods so we did try to avoid these. We loved the pool area, we were lucky to have amazing weather for the whole time, the pool area was not busy as lots of the guests went out cycling or on day trips, this may be different in summer months but not this time of year even though the hotel was mostly full all 370 rooms. The prices of drinks in the hotel bars, dining room and pool bar were very good and not overly expensive, i.e. a glass of wine was 3.20 euros. We loved that the hotel was situated so close to the beach only a 5 minute walk, there was a Mercadona supermarket behind the hotel only about a 7 minute walk and a short taxi ride from the airport. This was our first time staying at this hotel and in the resort of Playa de Palma, we loved that it has a lovely promenade with good pavements, a good cycling track which didn't hinder pedestrians and easy access with a good cheap bus fares into Palma. The resort had a nice feel to it in March with a pleasant vibe with lots of restaurants/bars/shops open. I think the staff would go above and beyond to help guests if possible. We would definitely stay here again at this hotel and also this resort.
