We arrived to a friendly welcome and was offered a welcoming drink. The hotel is well situated, out of the hotel turn right to a high street of bars and shops, with a five minute walk from Playa de Poniente beach. We only had a bed and breakfast board, so couldn't comment on the evening meals. However, breakfast was plentiful, continental, pastries, breads and cooked breakfast, with the option of fresh omelette, poached eggs. Rooms were a good size. We had a standard double, with balcony overlooking the pool area. Cleaned daily with fresh towels. We did have to request additional tea, coffee, milk and toilet rolls on a couple of occasions but this was rectified quickly. There are deluxe rooms available for an additional charge. Pool and garden area is kept very clean. Lots of trees for shade. We managed to get sunbeds all of the time but this was mid April and we don't think the hotel was full. On the morning of our departure we were provided with a take away breakfast for our transfer, which we requested the night before. All in all friendly helpful staff, well kept hotel, very well situated.

Overview This hotel has so many great opportunities to be excellent however does fall short in some basic areas, in particular the food and certain hotel policies. The Hotel It must be said that the hotel and its grounds are kept very clean and tidy with a relaxed modern feel to the surroundings. Reception is always staffed well and are on hand to help with the needs of the guests and does so in a timely manner. The Rooms Just like the rest of the hotel the rooms are modern and well decorated however they definitely are on the smaller sized rooms with the toilet, shower and sink all a very tight squeeze. We had a few issues with water pressure and temperature however the hotel did resolve these issues promptly. The Food I wouldn’t recommend going half board as the food is seriously under par from what was expected especially given the previous reviews. Unless battered Cauliflower, overcooked Chicken legs and questionable seafood are your thing it’s more than likely you’ll end up eating elsewhere. It’s a shame because occasionally they would have the odd really tasty meal option however it wasn’t that often. As has been mentioned before by guests the hot breakfast is shockingly bad however the continental breakfast was very good. The Pool This hotel has a very nice pool and relaxed poolside atmosphere surrounded by lush greenery. It’s not a heated pool, so expect that it’s going a cold swim but on a hot day it might be an ideal way to cool down. There are a fair number of comfortable sun lounges available around the pool however the hotel massively over charges for the use of the day beds with a huge 100€ fee for just one day! Yes that’s right 100€ for just one day, the hotel does give you 80€ in bar credit to use one the day of hire, but good luck spending that in just one day, especially if you’re staying on a half board basis. They sat unused, roped off for the entirety of our day, such a waste of opportunity for both the hotel and its guests alike. Tip I would highly recommend getting an extended terrace room as it’s very handy and offer that bit extra space to enjoy the sun. .

Room is lovely, modern hotel, close to old town, 30 minute walk to new town. Cooked breakfast is poor but continental is good. Hotel itself is modern and very clean. Paid €36 for x2 vodkas and nachos at the pool. Now I’m not cheap by any means but the nachos were just normal chips with a sauce. €... more

Room is lovely, modern hotel, close to old town, 30 minute walk to new town. Cooked breakfast is poor but continental is good. Hotel itself is modern and very clean. Paid €36 for x2 vodkas and nachos at the pool. Now I’m not cheap by any means but the nachos were just normal chips with a sauce. €12 for vodka and coke, absolute rip off. Wouldn’t think your in Benidorm at those prices, cheaper in the UK.

We stayed here in April for a birthday holiday and were very kindly given some bubbly on the day. The hotel has a very unique chic vibe with trees and plants tastefully positioned throughout the gardens and pool area as well as the inside. Most of the staff are very friendly, hard working and accommodating. The bar area is very relaxed and peaceful, an ideal place to relax. The restaurant is oddly configured and does not have an inviting atmosphere, the food is sometimes good but very limited choice and always consumed with high levels of fats and oils. Even though the general consensus would be to eat soup, a salad course, a main course then desert there is only one knife and fork laid out, this means that you have to get your own for each course, some chose to simply take cutlery from another table but that left people to sit down with none. Staff were generally encouraging people to use the same cutlery for each course, something we believe is unacceptable. Breakfast was not that great and the staff in the mornings were often sparse meaning tables would pile up, some guests took advantage and we witnessed people filling bags with food. The rooms are small with very little room and limited storage i.e. no drawers for storage or shelves in the bathroom area. There was a member of staff who was taken ill while we were there so would like to send our thoughts on and hope she is okay. All in all we enjoyed our stay but improvements can be made
