“Good and bad!”

Great location right by the sea, we had a family room for 2 adults and a child, our daughters bed was a metal put up one but was ok, lots of people have commented the beds are hard which they are but this didn’t bother us but the pillows were like sleeping on bricks!! Good points - food was amazing, plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner, the freshly made pancakes were amazing at breakfast. Staff are all lovely and friendly. We paid 10 euro for a kettle in our room and the cost of the safe is 3 euro per day. Our room was on the 6th floor and we had a side sea view plus a side view of the mountains - beautiful. Bad points were the walls are literally paper thin - I was horrified one morning hearing the people next door doing the deed, the hotel should really ensure families are all in one area, we could head drawers being opened, wardrobes slamming, people walking around and balcony chairs being scraped along the balcony floors - not ideal when you’re trying to sleep, the last night we had an early start due to an early transfer and the people in the room above were making a racket until after 1am - I was not impressed. Overall we enjoyed our time in Benalmadena, the whole area is beautiful but we would not return to this hotel due to noise levels at night.

Good value hotel.for the money. In a good area of Benalmadena with a wide choice of bars and restaurants close by. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Food fairly good went half board had breakfast every day and one evening meal could have been a hotter for me. Have been to the hotel before and.will return. My only concern we found the sunbeds very uncomfortable.

Pros: Location excellent for the beach, supermarket, bars and restaurants Beds comfy Rooms cleaned daily Hot water 💦 Cons: 1970s building not much updated since then Lifts (3) two of them hold 2 people max Pool area 54 beds which patrons raced for at 9am Breakfast - adequate! Would I stay again - no Would I recommend - no Good value - yes (because its so basic)

Rooms on the small side 210euro to up grade for mini fridge and kettle for 2weeks no difference to room size we only with a pool view .we were booked half board food was poor all cheap cuts.2 euro charge for water with dinner . Location wasn't great 20mins walk to bonanza Square 30mins to marina buses are ok but very busy and a bus ride to train station all up hill.

The hotel was ok, its very clean and tidy. The outdoor poolside bar was closed throughout our stay and there was no entertainment really. It was very quiet in both the day and the evening time. The food was poor, poor selection at breakfast. I was hoping for some fresh fruit but it was just a tray of apples, or cut up wedges of orange. Catered mainly for full english breakfast type of thing with little option for anything else. Overall, an ok stay. But wouldnt return.
