Just returned home after spending a week here and this was my 3rd visit at this hotel. Booked the premium room which was spacious and clean, the view was that of the side of another hotel no seas view but not bothered to be honest you only sleep in the room. We had to pay for the safe at €3 a day but we got €10 back at check-out. The food was different each evening and catered for everyone. Getting a table in the dining area was no problem. We had no problem getting a sun bed in either hotel. The only thing I found annoying were people pushing in the queue to get served at the bar. We are returning in September to stay here for another week. There are also lots of lovely restaurants nearby. There is a boat just outside of the hotel to take you across the bay and it’s now €5 each person, although it only takes about 20minutes to walk. Yes there was people banging doors coming back in the early hours but they’ve only been enjoying themselves. If you want peace & quiet then book a villa. Staff were very lovely and polite, the whole place was spotless and clean. See you again in 16 weeks 🌞.

Please don’t read too much into the bad reviews like we did! On arrival at the hotel we upgraded to Amantis I which was on the beach. Check in staff were lovely and the room was really nice. It’s 12€ per person per day to upgrade if available and free for under 12’s. Not the biggest room but we did manage to get a cot bed next to our bed. View over the beach was beautiful! A great location in terms of places around but also not too far from San Antonio. There is a boat taxi right outside, 5€ each way and only takes 5 mins to get across the baybut would really recommend. Stayed for four nights and was never disturbed by any noise. We decided on booking to go all inclusive for the price however we didn’t rate the food particularly. Loved the fresh pancake and omelette station in a morning and the snack bar across at Amantis II is great for kids or just a quick lunch. We were here for a wedding so we did eat out and spend most nights away from hotel anyway but drinks options were good. The only negatives really I would say is probably the hotel rules. Pool is not accessible until 10am which for a family hotel is probably too late. Especially if you have early risers. Sunbeds around the pool are minimal which means queues start from 9am to get to them. Food cannot be eaten around the pool and no drinks or food can be taken to your room. However there aren’t any fridges or drink making facilities in the room. I know it’s all inclusive but it would be nice to be able to take a drink up to get ready that you’d already paid for or have a kettle etc to be able to make one in a morning before breakfast opens at 8. Overall loved the area and hotel but probably would look at somewhere with a bit more freedom if travelling with a younger family.

“The Good, the less good and the shameful.”

Weather great, St Antonio bay is beautiful, staff in hotel very good and always helpful. Downside is the majority of the other guests. Weather great, St Antonio bay is beautiful, staff in hotel very good and always helpful. Downside is the majority of the other guests. Hotel is lacking an identity in that about 60% of guests are 40+ and the other 40% are mostly female hen groups or groups of noisy young men, mostly British I am sad to say, who thinking nothing of shouting insults at each other from the pavement outside hotel to those in room above, often using foul language. Guests coming back into their rooms at 2am-4am think nothing of carrying on conversations in the marble passageways, think nothing of involving the whole corridor in their evenings high/low lights. Pity really because the hotel buildings and position on the Bay are excellent and the food very acceptable although a little unadventurous. 'All inclusive' does not seem to be the same as a few years ago, but then again, what does?
