Just returned from 7 night stay here with 3 friends all inclusive. Fantastic value for money hotel . The hotel was clean and in a nice quiet location - but not far from all the major nightlife. Lovely 20 min walk into centre or u can easily get a taxi in for 7 euros. Rooms good size with balcony, fresh towels when needed. Big bonus for us was the adults only pool- peaceful and always got Sunbeds . David at the bar , and all the bar staff were excellent . Lovely drinks - everything we wanted. Even made us up a baby Guiness which was huge. Restaurant staff equally as good with special mentions for Jorge and Lorena. Food very good . Fresh fruit and salads. Bread,soup , pasta with sauce , chips and kids stuff. Always had several different meat dishes and a fish one . Different veg and potatoes. Theme nights (Mexican, Chinese ) all lovely. Was so much better than I expected from a 3 star. The only negative was that the walls were thin so could be noisy . Always have earplugs with me so not a problem Would definitely stay here again. Just got back from the Bergantin and what can i say wow. At first i was a little concerned from the negative reviews and their pictures, however i was soon reassured when i arrived. The walk up to reception is lovely very tranquil, playing chilled out music, lovely greenery and the gardens are spotless. I felt relaxed soon as i arrived with the tranquil setting this hotel has created. Check in was smooth even though our room wasnt ready we was able to get some lovely food and a drink, therefore wasnt an issue. Our room was spotless very clean and smelt clean too. We had a side seaview and a garden view from our balcony which was beautiful. Even the corridors leading to the rooms are spotless and smelt clean and fresh everyday. Our room was cleaned daily so thank you to the cleaners who do an amazing job as they really do work hard keeping the place spotless. The pool areas are also very clean and always plenty of sunbeds available. We stayed all inclusive the poolside snacks and drinks were fantastic, plenty of snacks to choose from. Would like to mention Isa at the poolside bar she gives 100 percent customer service to the guests. She always has a beaming smile to welcome you and can tell she genuinely loves her job. Well done Isa and lovely to meet you! The restaurant was also very clean and the staff in the restaurant from the chefs to the waiting staff all work exceptionally hard. I couldnt fault any of the waitressing staff, all constantly working hard and going out their way to give you the best holiday. David at the bar also very accommodating always looking forward to making you a drink. The entertainment staff all very welcoming and engage with all the guests young and old. The hotel cat is also a nice touch and comes into the reception most mornings and evenings to say hello to the guests so cute 🥰. The hotel is in a great location close to the beach near all the shops and bars but tucked out the way so you get a relaxing stay at the same time. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely return. I would rate the hotel as a 4 star not a 3. Sad to be home and cant wait to re book. Staff were hard working and the place was immaculate. We loved the adults only pool and the roof top pool, bar staff were very friendly. Rooms were cleaned and fresh towels everyday, ours had a pool view so was beautiful Would definitely go back

“Brilliant 7 nights!”

We have just come back from a 7 night stay at this hotel, and honestly gutted to come home! I went with my wife, and our daughters (10 & 3 - 3 year old has additional needs). I will start with the only improvements I could suggest - more gluten free and dairy free options - we have a child with additional needs and severe intolerance to gluten and dairy, very little options available. But the restaurant staff and chefs cooked us gluten free pasta when we asked, and allowed us to put our own coconut milk in their kitchen fridge. Checking in... the reception staff were lovely and helpful, even when we arrive around midnight. Very quick check in and very organised. Safe was a €10 deposit, but that's pretty standard really! Loved the drinks token rule, at checknin you got 1 token per person - will explain more about this later. They had basic food for us when we arrived so late, limited choice, but very much appreciated nonetheless. They explained everything we needed to know. The bar staff on the pool bar were lovely, and really accommodating for our youngest, they allowed us to fill her bottle up with water, rather than have a cup. They fell in love with her, so much so that they were teary when we left. They were fast at serving, and the alcohol was plenty. The pool bar also was where you ordered snacks, and it was quick and easy. The snack chef was very friendly too, always singing while cooking haha. Good choice of snacks, burgers hotdogs, chips pizza, toasties, salad...we often used this for lunch times rather than the restaurant as easier with the kids. The restaurant staff were amazing, always happy and couldn't do enough for you! Even at the busy times, they were on it! Monica, front of house was an absolute delight, and our youngest would always search her out for kisses and cuddles. She is such a lovely lady, and the hotel should be extremely proud of her service. Another amazing staff member, waiting on, was Lorena. Again could not fault her and how she made such an impression on our daughters. Even bought them a bracelet each, which was just so lovely. Both these women were amazing with our youngest, we will.miss them both! The entertainment / kids club team were absolutely fantastic! Ours didn't go to kids club, but the team entertained adults and children alike throughout the day, and the mini disco and entertainment at night! They work so well together. There were adult games that you could won prizes everyday, kids games were they could win the tshirts, they brought round watermelon on a serving plate most afternoons, which was very welcomed in such heat. They work so very hard and such an asset to the hotel. All of the team deserve a big shout out...Lara was brilliant with the kids, extremely funny, and caring. Alvaro, well he is a little pocket rocket, extremely welcoming, very funny, always up for a laugh both with adults and the kids. Mar, Mel, and Valeria were also brilliant with the kids and getting the adults up and involved too! Each and everyone an asset to the hotel! The room...no fridge or kettle, could borrow a fridge but €30 a day was too expensive, so we asked the staff in the kitchen to store our milk. The rooms were cleans everyday and towels swapped when we needed them. Great size room and nice balcony. Shower was a bit set back from the edge of the bath, so had to lean back to wash my hair, but other than that. All was very good. Drink tokens- at checknin you get 1 token per guest, you would then need to hand the token in to get a drink, you can hand your cups back to the bar and get tokens back, or get another drink. It stops drinks glasses being left everywhere, and the sustainability factor was a plus for us. Ground were lovely and well kept. The swimming pool freezing, but welcomes when It was so hot, and honestly, felt warm after 5 minutes! I would definitely consider going back!
