“Lovely stay”

Stayed in June 22. Found the hotel on booking.com but booked directly with the hotel as it was cheaper - although watch out for the €29 tourist tax on departure!! Paid extra for a sea view. Would say we were on 1st floor so although you could see the sea by leaning over the balcony it was more of a pool view but that was fine. The room was as big as it looks on the website. Really large space. The decor was dated but the room was cleaned and there was service everyday. Nice to have the kitchen- all utensils you need and a large fridge and microwave was very useful. The breakfast was excellent. A really large choice and would definitely recommend unless you are thinking of just doing yr own in the apartment. We didn’t eat in the hotel on other occasions but other peoples food looked great. Although we did use the Thai that is in the grounds and the food was great. We could see the Thai lady cooking from our balcony and she worked very hard and the kitchen looked spotless. The hotel seems to be the only one in the resort- I maybe wrong - so it was busy but we were able to find a bed and umbrella whenever we wanted to go to the pool. The beach is quite literally across the rd so you have a choice. The pool was a lovely temp and cleaned every morning. The hotel had quite a few children when we were there but it was only during the day you noticed them and not really an issue. The resort itself is very small. Not much of a promenade but the beach is sandy and the water was amazingly clean and clear. There are around 10 bar/restaurants in the resort- some are fairly pricey but majority look out over the bay and the sunsets are amazing so in part you are paying for the view. There is a tiny supermarket attached to the hotel that has all the basics including breads crisps microwave soft drinks and alcohol. A slightly larger one at the end of the resort - about 5 mins walk away. We walked into the the next resort Cala d Hort a couple of times- there are trails to follow. Also we caught the bus to san Josep and walked up Sa Talaia which had the most fantastic views. We also caught the bus to the old town ( you need to change in San Josep ) which was really worth a visit too - the bus stop is right outside the hotel. Would definitely recommend the hotel and resort if you are looking for a chilled holiday.

“A great stay, epecially in such difficult circumstances”

Welcome = Excellent - Friendly Room = Very clean and functional (Don't forget - this is NOT a 5-star palace !!) Food = Very good Staff = Superb. Friendly and helpful Location - very nice. Not a lot to do but a super beach

We loved our stay ! The hotel staff are friendly and so helpful. The hotel was very clean and our rooms were cleaned everyday . We loved our stay ! The hotel staff are friendly and so helpful. The hotel was very clean and our rooms were cleaned everyday . Hand sanitizer available and the staff checked our temperature on arrival. We had a one of the more basic rooms which was a good size and a sea view but no air con. Due to Covid the restaurant , bar and supermarket wasn’t open but there is a supermarket approx 1.5k walk - up hill . We are looking to come back in October , Cala Vadella is beautiful and the hotel is right on the beach !

“A great chilled out few days with amazing sunsets.”

We - family of 4 with 2 teenagers - had 4 days staying at the Apartmentos Puerto Cala Vadella. Really good! Very comfy large bed in the main bedroom, and lots of space in general. We - family of 4 with 2 teenagers - had 4 days staying at the Apartmentos Puerto Cala Vadella. Really good! Very comfy large bed in the main bedroom, and lots of space in general. Brilliant air con and spotlessly clean. Our apartment was overlooking the pool which is really nice and never too busy or too noisy early or late. A really nice mix of nationalities, including Spanish, Dutch and German. Couldn't be closer to the beach which is also amazing (busy but not OTT) and easy for other bars and restaurants, although Cala Vadella is small and quiet overall (so we liked it!). Perfect for a few chilled days and 3njoying some sunsets. Would recommend the sunset SUP tour - brilliant. Excellent Thai restaurant as part of the on-site offering which was a bonus. Staff helpful and were able to sort out some unexpected (unusual/unlucky) plumbing issues efficiently. Would recommend it, and would defintely return.
