“Las Marismas”

Just got back from a lovely 8 night stay! The hotel itself is clean, tidy and I didn’t see a single bit of rubbish! The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were spotless and they can with everything you needed! 100% recommend, definitely coming back

We have just returned from a fabulous 8 night stay at this hotel - and can say we had the best time. For those worried about the nearby construction work - don't. You can hardly hear any noise and it did not impact our holiday at all. The hotel itself was spotless. Rooms were large and well equipped - with complimentary beach towels for use at the pools and plenty of shower gel and shampoo. Gardens were very well maintained and the free 18 hole crazy golf was a huge hit with the kids (11 and 13). We stayed half board and very much enjoyed the food. There was always plenty of choice - and the catering staff put on a lovely Easter food display for the kids! Drinks are very reasonably priced as was the onsite shop - with prices equal to (if not slightly cheaper) than the local supermarket. The hotel is in a great location - a 10 minute stroll takes you to a shopping centre one way or the main strip in Corralejo the other way. Aqualand is also a 10 minute walk away. Less than 10 minutes drive will take you to the Corralajo Dunes and beautiful beaches. Lastly, we found all the staff at the hotel to be friendly, hardworking and efficient - nothing was too much trouble. This really is the best hotel we have stayed in and we can't wait to return.

There are many apartments here, set in lovely, well-kept gardens with two pools. Despite the large number of apartments it feels more like a hotel in beautiful grounds. Our apartment had a spacious open plan living/kitchen/dining area with a sofa bed, plus a separate bedroom and separate bathroom and a small patio with bistro set. The apartment was clean, quiet (which we had requested) and had everything we needed. The décor looked a wee bit dated, but only because it was in the traditional dark wood Spanish style. The bathroom was well equipped with a deep bath and shower over and lots of good hot water (unlike the trickle you can sometimes encounter in other accommodation). The staff were very polite, professional and helpful. We didn’t eat in the restaurant. The only negative for us was that Las Marismas is quite a long walk away from the centre of Corralejo and not one that either of us would have wanted to do alone in the dark. There are plenty of nice bars and restaurants along the main thoroughfare, but especially in and around the marina and ‘music square’ areas of Corralejo.

Late response but one I felt I needed review. I have travelled to Corralejo many times but not to this hotel. The hotel is lovely , well positioned, a short walk from top of the strip. The grounds of the hotel were immaculate. We were self catering and ate out in the evenings however we had lunch at the pool bar at lunchtimes and food was really good. Staff were very polite and friendly. Rooms were good although tired but large and airy. We had a fabulous room overlooking the pool. We had a couple of issues with maintenance but they were resolved very very quickly. We spent our days around the pool where is was quiet and relaxing, well 6 days until the last day when a family arrived with small children and one of the children defecated on the floor! There is a children’s pool area and this hotel has enough pools to make one of them an adult only, I wish they would. I would then return.
