Our first holiday as a family of four could not have been at a better resort. Sure rooms are a little dated/have no air con but the grounds of the hotel, staff, kids club and the food were all incredible. We were all inclusive and I know lots of people say that you should go self catering but the quality of the food (especially in the evening) was nothing short of exceptional) Big shout out to Jessica in the Kids Club who made our son Henry’s holiday. We enjoyed it so much we are already looking forward to returning in the future.

This hotel was recommended to us as the best possible at an affordable price. We weren’t disappointed. We had emailed to ask for an apartment overlooking the pool. Then our daughter and family decided to join us and I had to email again to ask for rooms close together. They obliged with next door rooms. The only, very small, gripe I would have is that they were ground floor and overlooking the car park. Not really complaining though as they did their best to accommodate us. I would ask for a room overlooking the crazy golf or pools for our next visit, hopefully next year. Rooms were more than adequate with everything we needed. Had a few breakfasts in our room as we were SC. Pools were great and we used almost everyday in the slightly heated one. We also ate at the pool bar on 2/3 occasions. Good value and tasty selection of bar meals. Used the evening bar on a few occasions, especially as it was only 2€ for a pint and 4€ for a bottle of wine. Crazy golf (free) was great to pass an hour as well. Reasonable walk to the main strip which we did every day to eat and indulge in a few cocktails. All in all we would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again.

There are many apartments here, set in lovely, well-kept gardens with two pools. Despite the large number of apartments it feels more like a hotel in beautiful grounds. Our apartment had a spacious open plan living/kitchen/dining area with a sofa bed, plus a separate bedroom and separate bathroom and a small patio with bistro set. The apartment was clean, quiet (which we had requested) and had everything we needed. The décor looked a wee bit dated, but only because it was in the traditional dark wood Spanish style. The bathroom was well equipped with a deep bath and shower over and lots of good hot water (unlike the trickle you can sometimes encounter in other accommodation). The staff were very polite, professional and helpful. We didn’t eat in the restaurant. The only negative for us was that Las Marismas is quite a long walk away from the centre of Corralejo and not one that either of us would have wanted to do alone in the dark. There are plenty of nice bars and restaurants along the main thoroughfare, but especially in and around the marina and ‘music square’ areas of Corralejo.

Only a couple of things let down this great place to stay. We enjoyed our stay there apart from the fact that once you leave your apartment it is near impossible to get Internet, a few boosters around the place could easily fix this. The staff were very helpful and nice except for one guy who was both a barman and a waiter, he's in the wrong job, very grumpy, condescending and totally unfit to be dealing with the public, he obviously doesn't want to be there, his face and whole demeanor shows it. All in all apart from Mr Scrooge we had an enjoyable time 😉. Plenty there for kids to do also. Good selection of food. 7/10.
