Our experience of this hotel was very good . Bungalows clean and bright. Food was good with plenty to choose from. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly and delivered excellent service with a smile. The location of the hotel is good . Ten minutes walk to playa Flamingo beach. Lovely long promenade walk which will take you all the way to the Marina Rubicon.All in all an excellent holiday in a four star hotel with five star staff .

Please do not take the bad reviews below as gospel. It is a brilliant stay, and hand on heart will genuinely be back, but with its slight problems. Firstly, The food is really good, loads of variety and caters for all, even for people who like a lie in and provide breakfast food up until 12:30-1:00 at the pool bar. The animation/ entertainment team were the best I have ever experienced, the whole team were friendly and truly amazing at their jobs, the activities they put on in the day the atmosphere they create around the pool, it was safe to say that this showed massively as Sundays are there day off and the atmosphere was kinda strange without them which was strange to me, they find constant activity such as football games, darts, archery, shooting, table tennis, bowls, the list goes on. And then there are the shows the team put on in the evenings, it was something to look forward to rather than the traditional kids music/ dances. There was the MINI discos on for kids and then afterwards a unique show for both adults and kids such as variety show dance performance and greatest showman show and a fire show, honestly was blown away by these shows. The bar staff are hit or miss and some of them look exhausted, but on the whole they are amazing, one person in particular who stood out for a guy in the main bar for Jason, spelt Yaisson, he was amazing smile on his face attention to detail and again just created a buzz in the bar, he was serving 70-80 people per night on his own and not once looked stressed and he was amazing. Now onto the niggles, they are not biggies however are worth a mention and do hope the hotel management take on board this as they have all the foundations to make a truly amazing experience for guests; The all inclusive bar ends @ 11:00pm - I am not a heavy drinker however, first time I have been in a holiday all inclusive and been told you cannot use your all inclusive after a certain time. The general cleaning is quite poor from the room service cleaning side - they just changed the beds and sheets and changed towels. I placed a glass cup over a cockroach as I’m English and not into all the bugs hahaha, it was in plain view by the shower entrance and upon returning to the room the cleaning staff didn’t even attempt to do anything with it. Also another note is that there was signs saying to not flush toilet paper and place in a bin, I’m sorry but I didn’t listen to this and upon reading reviews I don’t think anyone else did! A refundable €15 is required for each towel for the pool, and you can only change it every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Again very strange and in the end didn’t bother us but the other guests we got speaking to was quite annoyed by this. Ending on a positive a really great stay and I would 100% recommend but I think the resort should definitely read this review along with the others as it is the same thing that keeps popping up and letting it down.

Hmmmm I would give this hotel 3 stars. It's not bad at all, but it's not worthy of other 4 star TUI all inclusives I have been to. Here goes.... No ice lollies included on all inclusive, only ice cream scoops. Even an ice pop would be satisfactory, not everyone wants ice cream, lollies are far more hydrating in the heat - especially for young kids. No check in til 3 - unfair on a package holiday in my opinion. When you've been travelling with toddlers for 8 hours it's no fun. Birds flying into the restaurant - staff can't do anything about this one but it's off-putting to see them nibbling the food and that food not being removed. Taking of food, it's ok. Nothing to write home about but it was perfectly edible, vast selection, replenished constantly and didn't make anyone ill! Normal AI buffet is what I'd say. The bbq they have on a few times is week is decent. Cockroaches and ants - yes we saw them but what can they do? They are a native insect, just as a wasp is to the UK, only less annoying. On that note though, I didn't see a single wasp or mosquito! The cleanliness was actually fine. The staff obviously have a LOT to do and a lot to cover so I understand they can't spend half an hour on every room, maybe leaving a sweeping brush in the room would be a good idea to avoid sand and crumbs having to be left, a feast for the roaches! I'd recommend taking scented nappy bags so you can pop your soiled toilet paper in there before you put it in the bin. The pools are nice, although the splash park is a bit dated. The Olympic pool at the back is lovely, much quieter than the others. In terms of location, 15 min walk from Playa Flamingo beach (with 2 small children dawdling). It's a great beach for small children as it's very calm, wide and shallow, lots of fish if you buy a snorkel. 40 min transfer from the airport. Overall, would we come back? No, but we wouldn't come to Lanzarote again either. Would I recommend this hotel? If I was coming to Lanzarote again, no. Seems a small thing but it is annoying having to buy ice lollies every day and having to wait to check in.
