the negatives We like the early flight to canaries so we are sat by the pool by lunch time we arrived about 12.30 to be told check in is 3pm we could put bags in a storage room come back at 3 as we had no room we couldn’t have pool towels and the complex is gated so need a room key to get in and out of complex 2. The pools don’t open until 10am chains across the entrances people ignored this and stepped over chains The pool area was cleaned every 3 days on those mornings the sunbeds were piled up and chained locked until 10 am 3. Cleanliness could have been better we sat in same place each day there was a coffee spilt on the floor for 3 days other hotels we’ve been to clean every day. Now the positives We had the superior room so had air con and separate bedroom the room was a good size the kitchen was basic but enough to be able to self cater the balcony was big with table chairs 2 sunbeds and umbrella the sofa wasn’t very comfortable though The pools were good the small pool was being refurbished when it opened it was lovely the pool had been retiled all new sunbeds and umbrellas. The bigger pool was ideal if you had young children as very shallow but got deeper so could swim in it too plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas there was aqua aerobics and water games Can’t comment on food didn’t eat here although chatting to some ladies who have been going 5 years and said standards have gone down. I had a mojito from the bar it was disgusting just tasted of mint was like drinking mouth wash my husband liked the beer Location is brilliant The Duke shopping centre right outside gate lovely shops and restaurants and good supermarket it is 10 mins walk to beach with lots of bars and restaurants this area of Tenerife is lovely and beautiful beaches we walked all along the beach front to La Calletta beautiful views The hotel is good value we would return as lovely area
