Great hotel. Absolutely spotless, staff very friendly and helpful, domestic staff constantly keeping everything clean. There were renovations going on a few rooms down from us but we were never disturbed by it. Always plenty sunbeds around the pool. The barmaid was so much fun singing and dancing along with us wen we were sitting at bar area during the day having a shandy. There is absolutely nothing negative I can say about this hotel. Even the location is perfect for wandering around to the different areas of shops and restaurant/bars and a lovely 10 minute walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend this hotel. It was my birthday on the last day and staff handed in a bottle of wine , so thoughtful. Tha ks for a great stay 😃

Stayed for 10 days room 523. The place is IDEAL for location and relaxation. The staff are some of the best in the service industry, always happy to help have a smile when greeting you. Quick check in and the hotel is spottless. The room was well kept, kettle, microwave, fridge, coffee pot, two ring hob and plenty of cutlery. The bedroom offered two very very comfortable beds, loads of storage space and draws. Safe in room (2 euros a day, excellent value) The bathroom is large and plenty of hot water. The maids do a fantastic job, towels changed six times a week and keep the place spotless. The hotel is going through updating the rooms and the one we looked in look really really nice. The pool area is clean and comfortable sunbeds. Would I recommend this hotel its a 10 from me, loved it so much booked to go back on the 20th July, we requested room 501 hopefully this can be offered when we arrive. AGAIN thank you for a memorable holiday.

“Location. Location. Location ... Plus !”

Have visited the resort many times over the years & now kicking myself I never stayed at Buenos Aires before. I'd always assumed it was much more expensive than it is. Will certainly stay again. I usually spend a couple of hundred euto in taxis per holiday, plus sweaty treks and shoe leather. Overlooks the Yumbo Centre, yet surprisingly little noise (even during Pride Week). Ten minutes stroll down to the beach. Regular buses to Maspalomas lighthouse from right outside hotel (€ 1.4) (Bus 66 to airport 40 mins € 3.4) Hotel is clean and well maintained. All staff are friendly, efficient and professional. Rooms are very comfortable with sturdy furniture and comfy sofa & armchair. You could eat off the floors. Small kitchen area with fridge, microwave and two ring ceramic hob. Kitchen also has absolutely everything you'd need for cooking - cutlery, glasses, plates and bowls. There's a welcome pack with washing-up liquid, sponges and tea-towel. I went self-catering so can't comment about the food. The Red Cow restaurant across the road serves great and varied meals (their groaning full English breakfast plate is not to be missed). The Cordillo supermarket over the road has everything (reasonable prices, I understand the locals shop there). Bathroom, also pristine, has very good shower. Great water pressure and very adjustable temp. The shower cubicle is sturdy and tiled. Lots of towels. Beds super comfortable. I requested, and was given, room 301. I chose 301 because, at the far east end of the corridor it got the sun 'til the very end of the day. Also, at the end of the corridor, the balcony has a side view, as can be seen from photo's, there is no support pillar at the corner so it's completely open. (That's a good tip, folks). It was very pleasant to enjoy the sun around the pool then catch the last hour of sunlight on my balcony. All rooms overlook the pool. I've stayed before at the sister hotel The Neptuno next door. A little more plush, sure, but only half the rooms overlook the pool. The other balconies look onto the street, or worse, the side of next door buildings. A big plus for the Buenos Aires is the wonderful pool area. It's hard to believe, as you doze in the sun, that you're in the very centre of the resort. Sturdy (very comfortable) sun loungers span around a kidney shaped pool which has a Jacuzzi. The pool is good sized, heated, and crystal clear. Faces south so gets the sun all day. Jolly music plays, but not annoyingly loud. The bar serves drinks and snacks. Smoking and non-smoking tables. Waitess service if required. The bar staff are very jolly and professional. When I arrived one delighted guest was getting the "Happy Birthday" treatment, with a slice of cake and "Happy Birthday" briefly played. The pool bathrooms are immaculately clean, fragrant, and well maintained. No smoking around the pool but the smoking area, two steps away from the pool, is a garden with good quality comfortable lounge furniture. From late morning it's a sun-trap. I've read the reviews mentioning people "reserving" sun-loungers. One or two people do that, but I stayed over three weeks and there were always plenty of available loungers (in the sun). Re-reading this glowing review I wonder if I sound like this was my first ever trip and I never stayed in an hotel before. The fact is I I'm an experienced traveller and have visited this resort many times. I enjoyed a better stay at the Buenos Aires than at any other hotel I've stayed in. Highly recommended.

After discovering this hotel in Jan 24, this was a return and it didn’t disappoint. Booked direct after joining the Mur Club, which gets you preferential rates and some little extras in the room. On arrival, the very genuine and professional Pedro welcomed me and got me checked in quickly. My room request was acknowledged, which was appreciated. The rooms are a good size and what I like about this hotel is the bedrooms are at the front of the hotel, so any potential noise from the Yumbo Centre isn’t heard. Room was clean and the kitchenette is perfect for the odd time you don’t want to eat out. Some of the rooms are currently being renovated, which is good to see happening and will probably make me rate this hotel a five next time. Pool area always clean and well laid out, plenty of sun beds and always a nice poolside atmosphere. Friendly pool bar staff and prices are really reasonable. All in all I recommend this hotel for friendliness, location and great value. Already booked to return in September this year and look forward to hopefully staying in one of the new rooms.
