“Good stopover, close to highway”

We had a stopover here while traveling from the Atlantic coast in the west to Barcelona. Booked a family room. One double bed and two beds above each-other. We had a stopover here while traveling from the Atlantic coast in the west to Barcelona. Booked a family room. One double bed and two beds above each-other. Although close to road and fuelstation the rooms are quiet. Double glass keeps the noise out. Hotel has a restaurant with reasonable food for reasonable prices. Also 24h small “buffet”. Hotel overall and the rooms are outdated, plastic plants in the lobby. No private parking.

“Good place for a stop after a long drive from North of Spain”

We were traveling from Bilbao to Barcelona with three little kids in the car and needed a place to stop and cool down. We were traveling from Bilbao to Barcelona with three little kids in the car and needed a place to stop and cool down. The public swimming pool near the Albania hotel is great and the room was all we needed for two nights-stay. We visited Bardenas Reales and we liked it, but it was extremely hot so we ended up spending most of the time at the pool, which is very kid friendly. Breakfast was alright, nice overall. There is a gas station with a convenience store just across the street, easy access to liquids! (which were more important than food in 40 degrees temperatures).

The Hotel is conveniently situated if you are en route from the South to Bilbao, as has already been said it's behind a Garage. Although it's in a main road, the double glazing keeps road noise out. The Hotel is conveniently situated if you are en route from the South to Bilbao, as has already been said it's behind a Garage. Although it's in a main road, the double glazing keeps road noise out. The rooms are great. Our evening meal was adequate and reasonably priced. Very surprised that breakfast was poor which somewhat spoilt our stay. Only coffee and toast, not much else, no Croissants, Cereals. Management should consider a set breakfast. Such a let down to an otherwise great hotel.

This is essentially a budget hotel with no frills and redeeming quality are the helpful staff.It is situated beside a busy lorry park.Bedrooms are basic.The first room we were given smelt of stale cigarettes and the bedspread was old and stained.We moved to another room where the bed was comfortable but the blankets in need of laundering.The bathroom was very clean .Like many Spanish restaurants service does not commence until 9pm.OK for a cheap overnight stay but we will not be returning in future.
