“Perfect for family, beach and eating out”

Great location, friendly staff, very clean. Loads of restaurants and shops beside apartments. Pool is great with showers and bar serving food. Beach is right across the road and is so handy to nip to without having to bring everything with you for a beach day.

Absolutely delightful stay. We stayed for 7 nights as part of a jet2holidays package. This August we wanted a budget hotel. We picked Stella maris because of the reviews regarding the stunning views and oh my god they did not disappoint. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with side sea view but we had a double whammy with front sea view too. The views are absolutely fantastic amazing and stunning. (Room 214, second floor) As we went in August I was weary about sunbed hoggers at the pool. But to my delight, we, a family of 4, were able to get sun beds every single day and play in the pool. 2 mornings we had the pool exclusively to ourselves for about 1 hour as it was that quiet and in August!!!! There is a code to enter the pool and it is just outside hotel this is absolutely no bother ignore other reviews that whine about it. The apartments were cleaned almost daily. There is not housekeeping Thursdays and Sundays although we did get toilet paper and rubbish bags topped up. The apartment is spacious and modern and the beds are alright. They are hard like other reviews but not uncomfortable or agonising. The hotel itself is a little budget gem. We absolutely loved out stay. It felt private and we felt looked after. The rooms were cleaned to a top standard and the cleaners are fantastically friendly. There is no entertainment. We didn't see any or any schedules and there is no music by the pool. This didn't bother us it felt more peaceful. One day we bought some chips by the pool and the lovely guy working there brought some popcorn put for my girls that was very kind and a nice touch. There are hundreds or restaurants along the strip and lots of supermarkets. I must add that mercado is just around the corner from the hotel and this is very cheap and useful supermarket to buy meals in for light lunches and breakfasts. I liken this place to Asda. I recommend namaste for Indian food. We normally stay at jet2 5 star hotels but this summer our budget did not allow. Stella maris did not disappoint and it was as good as one of the 5 stars we have stayed in recently (minus the food). Book it you won't be disappointed. I promise.

“Best apartment ever stayed in”

Lovely apartment and such a good size. Smelt so clean and was spotless. Air con was great, view was amazing from the large balcony. Very helpful staff. No reserve policy for sun beds was appreciated. Can't fault. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend and return.

Just back after 4 nights in a 1 bedroom apartment (jet2) and I honestly can’t fault the place - have done many low-cost self catering holidays and this place is possibly one of the best. Yes kitchen is small and basic (no shock - we eat out and only need breakfast and light lunch) apartment was on 5th floor - side sea view and it was more than big enough for the 3 of us. No charge for air conditioning and for me the bed was good and firm for my back! Beds and cleaning was done at least once in the 4 days and the place is spotless! Views were superb, beach across the road (€7 per bed for the day but worth it - so comfortable!) the pool was on the small side but I’m no Olympic swimmer and for a cooling dip was perfect. Door code to get access from 10am was different but it’s so quiet on the street at that time it’s no problem. No need to go and wait early as plenty of beds still free at 10:30. Lifts are a little small and warm but there are 4 of them so never waiting long - we used the stairs mostly (without luggage!) Loads of restaurants nearby, in both directions and the middle of the strip location means it’s relatively quiet at night but easy to get to the bars etc if that’s your thing.
