The hotel is in a great location if you want a bit more tranquility and an amazing view of town. It’s nestled in the cliffs and within walking distance to Puente San Martin. Very quaint and as a Canadian, felt like an authentic experience in Spain. The room was very nice! Beautifully tiled floors and bathroom with wooded shutters in the shower (if I don’t have to maintain it, I think it’s great!). Beautiful wooden doors (with glass doors behind them) in the bedroom that opened up to a wonderful spacious balcony, what a view of the city which was breathtaking day and night!….but what a view of some sort of septic tank right in front of us…you could hear the flush and all of the sudden, a bunch of water would come out of a hose into that weird tank. This was supposed to be an upgrade because my husband has a Platinum status…It was an anniversary trip and a glass of wine on our balcony with that view would have been amazing. When we mentioned the tank and what kind of noise it made and weird musty smell, the lady at the front desk completely dismissed it. She said it was a filtering system…No apology for the view of the tank or noise. I heard it on and off both nights there. The rest of the hotel was beautiful. Full windows in the main areas and in the dinning room with the same gorgeous views (minus tank). We had breakfast at the buffet, and although small, we found it delicious. This is where I got addicted to the Spanish Omelette lol. There were fresh fruit juices, different breads and croissants, coffee/tea, a variety of charcuterie meats and cheeses, fruits and you could request eggs how you liked them. A great perk about this place is that there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel (for public transportation and the hop on hop off). Also there is free parking! It would have been a fantastic stay had it not been for that tank and I would even have overlooked the brown hot water coming out of the taps when you first turned them on. I would still recommend this place, just don’t get the room on the lower level next to the parking lot facing town (I believe it is 110) ;)

“Beautiful views ”

The hotel had a stunning view, comfortable beds and very friendly staff. There were very loud crickets outside our bedroom but that's nothing the hotel could have done. As Toledo is quite a secluded city, we relied on hotel food, their selection was very limited which was a shame.

Interesting property with a weird layout (lobby is on the 3rd floor) and difficult parking lot but with amazing views of historic Toledo including about half the hotel rooms. However, for the price charged they should be ashamed to only offer Spanish language TV (not one channel in another language) which I am sure does NOT conform to Marriott standards. Also, their expensive buffet breakfast does not offer any hot food (except a warm Spanish torte) which is also disappointing for the price charged ... just cold food. Staff are courteous and bed very comfortable. HDTV is very large. Hard keys still in use for rooms and quite awkward and difficult to use if not use to this old lock systems. Overdue to be replaced with electronic key card entry system with room power connected.

“Nice staff. The hotel is a little tired but is still nice.”

Nice staff. A friendly welcome. The room we had was immediately below the bar. An ok view but I’m not sure it’s worth the extra cost. The room was very tired. Some marks on the wall. No kettle or coffee maker. Breakfast was nice. Easy parking and a pleasant 15/20 minute walk to and from the town.
