“Clean and comfortable hotel with great lake views”

Really interesting hotel located centrally in Lake Tahoe. We were located on the fifth floor of the hotel, and this afforded great views of the Lake from the balcony. Really interesting hotel located centrally in Lake Tahoe. We were located on the fifth floor of the hotel, and this afforded great views of the Lake from the balcony. It's an interesting hotel - the hotel is on 7 floors, with the rooms accessible from an elevator and exterior walkways. Room was large, clean, with a modern bathroom. There were laundry facilities, and plenty of parking, some undercover. Lots of nice places to eat nearby. Some of the stairwells were undergoing renovations and for this reason, I would not recommend this hotel if you have small children - unless you are prepared to watch them constantly. All in all, a basic but clean and comfortable place to stay.

An unfriendly notice on the door made it clear that office hours would only be from 4pm today and not at 3pm as usual. An unfriendly notice on the door made it clear that office hours would only be from 4pm today and not at 3pm as usual. The lady came from an outdoor activity and first had to go for a run with the dogs. Then she opened the office door and told the 5 waiting parties that only one could enter - no hello but simply: what's her name. She didn't understand my name but didn't want to look in my passport or on the reservation confirmation. She told me that our room was not yet clean and ready. The lady was very, very unfriendly! The room (704) was ok, the view of the lake magnificent, the entrance to the elevator very dirty and unkempt.
