“IAD Shuttle was the Killer”

Everything inhouse was fine. Bedding was decent. Everything worked - clean. I was stranded due to a mechanical delay and chose this Marriott property due to my Bonvoy account. I should have gone with one of the other choices. Waited in the cold for 40 minutes for the van, while my other choices made two passes. Small van with a tiny sign on the door. I dad a 07:30 flight the next morning - was happy to hear the van ran every 30 minutes top and bottom of the hour. Great, I'll be down for the 05:30am run - Oh, but the service doesn't start until 7am. Crazy. There has to be 50 flights before 8am... So, updated my Uber and paid out of pocket. Thanks for nothing. Decent hotel other than the lame shuttle service.

“Front desk associate was very cruel and made fun of me due to my disability”

The young front desk associate with glasses who's name started with a M was very hostile, rude and disrespectful to me and made fun of me because of my disability. The young front desk associate with glasses who's name started with a M was very hostile, rude and disrespectful to me and made fun of me because of my disability. She laughed at me several times gave me dirty looks and spoke to me in very condescending tone. I brought these issues to other associates who I think I have good terms with but the girls hostile and disrespectful behavior got worse. I have her on video and audio doing it. She also drives the hotel shuttle van very fast in the parking lot and I'm afraid she will hit someone especially a young child (that's how I ended up in a TBI/coma i was hit by a car when I was 6 years old by someone who was driving recklessly). I have her on video driving recklessly thru the hotel parking lot and on Herndon Parkway. I brought this to other associates too at the hotel but she still continues to do it and their excuse is she is young and just learning to drive. Seriously? No accountability. Sad that I was a paying customer and I was treated like that. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Older hotel ending to be refreshed. Bed is terrible. Location not so good and NOT within walking distance of Reston town center. Average rating and I am being generous. It was inexpensive compared to other hotels and that is understandable considering location and age.
