The LIT Bangkok Residence was a great choice as a base to explore Bangkok located in the SIAM area close to the National Stadium BTS station and the various shopping malls close by. Although located in central Bangkok, the Hotel is situated in a quiet area away from the main roads so you can sleep soundly at night. All the hotel staff are very approachable, kind and friendly. If you take Breakfast at the Hotel, The Breakfast is very good to set you up for the day, and the Breakfast service staff are very kind and attentive too. The rooms at the LIT Bangkok Residence are spacious comfortable and are thoughtfully designed, I very much enjoyed my stay and would stay again at the same Hotel on my next visit to Bangkok. “Great base, clean hotel and friendly staff”

As soon as arrived at the hotel, the reception was great. I was welcomed sat down checked in my bags and I were taken on golf buggy to the residence building behind the main hotel. I stayed in one bedroom apartment on the sixth floor. As soon as I entered the room, it was lovely and cold very clean and plenty full water provided. The room had a kitchenette with hot, fridge with freezer compartment a kettle and I washer dryer which was a godsend. The bathroom was extremely clean with the separate bath and shower. There is a small little pool next to the bar and restaurant area which was great to call down in the hot Bangkok weather. The hotel itself is only located five minute walk from National stadium BTS which is a great hub to get around to using the BTS system. Nearby there is a 7-Eleven where you can get your basics from but also further up the road there is a Tesco Lotus. Directly over the main road there are many shopping facilities including MBK, Siam discovery and Siam paragon. Absolute great base and if I do ever come back to Bangkok, I would definitely stay. “Too many comfort issues for a long stay”

I stayed at LiT Residence for 10 nights. The apartment-style residence is a separate building behind the main hotel, with separate fitness center and pool, but you are welcome to use the facilities of the main hotel (and they are better). The location is excellent. Since it’s tucked in an alley, it’s shielded from the Bangkok chaos, but just steps away from two 7-Elevens, BTS skytrain station, MBK mall, and the Siam malls. Upon first inspection, the One Bedroom Superior Suite appeared clean, modern, and a bit smaller than I envisioned from the photos. I appreciated having the kitchenette and the washer/dryer in the suite. However, there are some serious comfort issues that make me hesitant to stay there again. 1. The Air Conditioning unit in the bedroom is situated so that it blows directly on your face while you’re in bed. The only adjustment that can be made is to turn it on “swing” mode, which really doesn’t help much. I ended up having to keep the temperature setting higher than I would normally like, as turning it off results in the bedroom getting instantly hot. 2. The WiFi is sometimes fast enough, and sometimes just slows down so much that it’s unusable. Forget about streaming shows or doing Zoom meetings reliably. It also signs you out multiple times per day and requires you to sign in with the room number and password on the captive portal. I had it memorized within a couple of days because of this repeated inconvenience. I'm glad I wasn’t working during this trip, because I would’ve been even more angry. 3. As is typical in some Asian countries, this suite is full of directional halogen ceiling lights and very little warm comfort lighting. The living area is too bright to relax. The bathroom has no vanity light on the mirror, just an unflattering halogen lamp directly over the sink. 4. The wood blinds in the living room no longer work properly, so your privacy from the building behind you is not preserved at night. Fortunately the bedroom does have blackout curtains, but they still let in a lot of light on the sides. 5. The pool at the Residence is always shaded, so the water is always cold, and there are too many mosquitos around to sit comfortably. I rarely saw anyone use it during my time there, and I guess that's why. The Hotel pool looks more inviting, but I didn't get around to trying it. On a better note, the staff were all friendly, and I do have to compliment the housekeeping staff, as they appeared to be available late into the afternoon to clean my room. The shower in the bathroom is large with a bench and has adequate water pressure. The fitness center in the Hotel is adequate for most people, and there are lovely jacuzzis and saunas in the locker rooms. I really want to like this hotel, but the multiple ergonomic issues were too bothersome to tolerate for another long stay. I hope the management can find solutions to these issues to improve the experience for future guests.
