“Great Place to Stay”

Had a great stay at this hotel! Wonderful service at check in from Carolyn. Room was very comfortable and clean. The location is great just on the side of the I-40 whether you are driving towards the state of Texas or Arkansas. I will make sure to stay here again one day.

Our suite was roomy with full kitchen, comfy beds, large bathroom with extra storage. Will definitely book a Town Place suite again.

We stayed on the way to Ft. Worth. Conveniently located right off I30 surrounded by numerous eating places that were easily walkable should you not want to load back up in the car. The young lady at the desk (I can’t remember her name but it started with an A. I even asked her to write it down so I wouldn’t forget and now can’t find where I put it) was so kind and helpful. Truly made a wonderful first impression. The room was spacious with plenty of outlets. Was not a fan of hunks of food and crumbs in the chairs and the furniture in the living space seemed damp so we didn’t use. The room also had a strong chemical smell. (Maybe from a cleaning agent they use?) The ac unit in our room gave off a slight mildew smell when the ac was on. Other than those items, everything else was positive. Plenty of parking, the common area was bright and clean, the hotel room had plenty of towels, the bed and linens were comfortable and allowed for a solid night’s sleep, and the hotel was quiet. Breakfast had an assortment of basic hot and cold items to choose from. Loved the waffle maker. The attendant kept things replenished. I cannot say enough positive things about the staff we encountered.

I'll start with Marriott status means nothing here. So your loyalty to the brand will be dismissed. We are titanium and have already stayed 70+ nights this year alone. I accidentally booked 2 queen rooms. We booked in the parking lot. When I came in to check in, I said is there a king available and she said it would be a rate change. King room was $10 more. $10 "upgrade" I was asking for and declined. Sigh. Makes you feel great that you chose this hotel when you have regrets when checking in. Everything else is just tired. Sheets are super scratchy. Pillows are flat and non existent, hallways dim and carpets need a good cleaning. Setting my alarm for 6am so we can get down the road asap. We've stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn many times and that is a much better option in this area
