Great stay. No issues dealing with staff. Everything was straightforward and if I requested anything, it’s promptly attended to. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Rooms are clean and attended daily. We enjoyed our stay! Close to many restaurants. I will stay here again and most definitely recommend it.

I stayed at the Sheraton Los Angeles San Gabriel with my family from Christmas Day to New Years' Eve 2024. I wanted to take advantage of my elite status to get free lounge access to a hotel in the Los Angeles area, and this was the lowest cost one I could find that wasn't too far from the attractions we planned to visit. I got a long-term stay rate of just under $200 night. We arrived on Christmas Day on a early morning flight, so we arrived well before the regular check-in time. I wasn't sure if they would have any rooms available yet, so I asked. The front desk were very professional and friendly. They said a room was available on the club floor, so I gladly accepted it. However, once I reached my room, the first thing I noticed was a smell. Someone had smoked in the room, despite the no smoking policy laws. I immediately had to turnaround and let the front desk know. They apologized for the inconvenience, but since no rooms were available, we stored our bags and went our for a late lunch. On our return, we were assigned a new room on the club floor. This room was fine. It's a fairly standard looking Sheraton will familiar color schemes. Good size room and bathroom, and it was clean. WiFi worked well. Mini-fridge was silent. I always like having an in-room safe. I often find Sheraton beds a little firm, but OK. We did take advantage of the club lounge. It's actually nicer looking than a number of Sheratons I've been too, but is very small. The breakfast meets the minimum requirements of a hot egg, hot meat, some time of potato, fruit, cereal/oatmeal, pastries, fruit, juices and coffee. Nothing special, but was good enough to start the day. They also have hors d'oeuvres from 4-6pm, but the two times I visited, the offering was pretty bad. I'm usually not that picky, but the food was basically microwaved food and was hardly edible, so not worth waiting around for. I used the gym a few times and it was fine. I never saw anyone else when I used it. Hotel is conveniently located near a number of restaurant and Asian supermarkets, which I enjoy visiting. Overall, I was satisfied with my visit. It's a fairly typical Sheraton in terms of looks, with an average club lounge and well located for a tourist to visit LA for the week.
