“A bit short of personal service”

Nice clean rooms. Very large hotel. Lacking a bit in any personal service. I needed ice for a foot injury. Monica machines on floor. Called front desk and was told to go to the bar and they might be able to help.

“Amazing views but mixed experience”

We recently stayed here and, overall, had mixed feelings about the experience. The highlight was definitely the view from the balcony – it was absolutely amazing and exactly what we had hoped for. The location is fantastic too, right by the Eiffel Tower and only a short walk from the nearest metro station, making it easy to get around Paris. The bathroom was lovely and felt modern, but the rest of the room was quite basic. For £450 per night, I expected a bit more in terms of the room itself. One thing that left a bad impression was the check-in experience. We were grateful to receive an early check-in at around 2:40pm and were told we'd been "upgraded" to a room one floor higher than the one we'd booked. However, immediately afterwards, we were asked to scan a QR code and leave feedback before we'd even seen the room. We were also told to mention the receptionist's name in the review. It felt strange and uncomfortable being asked to rate the room and service before we'd actually experienced either, and it didn't feel like genuine feedback. In the end, I gave 5 stars just so we could get our room key and continue with our stay. We were also told that the minibar was complimentary, which sounded like a nice perk, but when we got to the room we discovered the "minibar" consisted of two bottles of water, which felt a little misleading. Thankfully, the weather was beautiful during our stay, so we were able to make the most of the balcony and enjoy the incredible view. If the weather hadn't been good enough to sit outside, I think we would have been much more disappointed, as the room itself didn't really justify the price and you couldn't see the Eiffel Tower at all from the inside of the room. Overall, the location and view from the balcony are hard to beat, but for the cost, I expected a higher standard of room and a more genuine guest experience. Ps. For drinks in the hotel bar - we were €32 for a small beer and a 2/3 filled glass of prosecco.

We are willing to pay more as we wanted to watch the view at our hotel room. My husband during the reservation requested for high floor. Very disappointed the hotel staff gave us level5 and we are told high floor starts from level4 when their highest is level11. We ended having the room at one cor… more

We are willing to pay more as we wanted to watch the view at our hotel room. My husband during the reservation requested for high floor. Very disappointed the hotel staff gave us level5 and we are told high floor starts from level4 when their highest is level11. We ended having the room at one corner and blocked by another building. Having the balcony is also useless. Moreover, Pullman being high end hotel should seriously consider renovating the hotel if they wanted to charge high rates yet and yet poor view.
