“Great Hotel”

I was here on business. The hotel staff is excellent and the breakfast is fantastic. The people who work the breakfast bar are also fantastic and helpful. The rooms are clean, roomy and comfortable. They are also located in a little compound with some restaurants and a Starbucks.

We stayed a night here on our trip through Mexico. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. They spoke very good English which was extremely helpful as our Spanish skills are very poor to nonexistent. We would recommend this place if you have to stay in Puebla. However, we won’t. We stayed a night here on our trip through Mexico. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. They spoke very good English which was extremely helpful as our Spanish skills are very poor to nonexistent. We would recommend this place if you have to stay in Puebla. However, we won’t. Just before arriving for our stay. We were stopped by the Policia Vial just after the toll booth. They repeatedly asked if we had marijuana. When they finally believed we didn’t, they then told our dog had to be in a cage and demanded $850 USD, which we didn’t have. They did not want pesos. In the end we had to pay them over $8000 pesos ( approx $450 USD). We had passed through several other checkpoints prior to this and had no issues, from either the Policia Federal, municipal or military. As a result, we had to change our trip in Mexico and cut it short. Nor could we risk another shakedown. What a shame. Everywhere else the people were friendly and helpful.

“Great new hotel”

The hotel is new and have great installations. Nice pool and garden, a modern gym and laundry room with brand new equipment. The room was nice, very clean, and comfortably sized for the price. The breakfast was delicious.
