“Beautiful hotel”

This hotel is something special - built in a very nice architecture with big entrance, and a beautiful garden. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a nice mixture of Asia meets West!

“Calm and nice”

The hotel has very good service and nice clean rooms. All well connected with free WiFi. The bar has always live performance (at least all times I have been there!) Breakfast is very good but lacking some raw material for Continental breakfast.

“A traditional Chinese experience”

The hotel is quite far from the city centre, but was good and relaxing. Perfect for retreats and experiencing a traditional Chinese building. “Terrible food here and poor location”

This was the worst hotel so far on our AVG tour of China. It is in the sticks of Wuxi so a mission to find somewhere to eat. This was the worst hotel so far on our AVG tour of China. It is in the sticks of Wuxi so a mission to find somewhere to eat. The hotel is like a maze so trying to find your room is an absolute nightmare. The rooms were nice and we had a big bath tub. Our bed was huge and very comfortable. What really let this hotel down was the buffet breakfast. It was disgusting and poorly serviced. I was not expecting much and am not a snob about hotel breakfast buffet. We were part of a tour group of about 200 so there was obviously going to be a time in the morning where the buffet would be especially busy. Other hotels have coped fine on the tour. We were given only one set of cutlery for the three of us. I hunted around for cutlery and asked multiple staff members for more with no luck. The selection was very limited. I got cornflakes, a boiled egg and orange juice that was hidden away. I saw some fungus on the menu and the line for the coffee machine was huge and poorly managed. I would definitely not recommend staying here unless you have plans to be able to eat elsewhere.
