Funky yet professional hotel. Very attentive service staff and great view of Hotel nHow. Repeat stay for both work and leisure. The breakfast spread is amazing!

“Location, location, location”

We picked the hotel because of location, but loved it because of the extra amenities around the hotel. We sailed from the Port of Rotterdam and the hotel is a quick covered walk down the sidewalk. We picked the hotel because of location, but loved it because of the extra amenities around the hotel. We sailed from the Port of Rotterdam and the hotel is a quick covered walk down the sidewalk. It is close to the Metro and train so easy access if you are coming from Central Station. The bonus is the area had lots of restaurants, a small grocery store close by and a little park at the end of the street. The hotel was also very modern and clean. The staff was very helpful and kind. I would definitely stay again.

“Beautiful But Does It Quite Work?”

The panoramic room views of the city of Rotterdam skyline and their signature bridge as shown on the hotel's website of accomodations lured us to book a two-night stay prior to our cruise. The view from our fourteenth-floor room was nothing short of spectacular and lived up to our wildest expectations. The hotel's location just across from a metro station, in a lively part of town only a half block from the cruise terminal and a short block-and-a-half walk to an Albert Heijn supermarket (hotel room had a mini-fridge), meant that all coveniences were available. A welcoming staff also added to the hotel's appeal. So.....why only a four-star rather than a five star review? The room's modern open layout doesn't quite work. The glass-enclosed bathroom adjacent to the beds , while beautiful in interior-design magazines, doesn't seem to strike a balance with privacy concerns. In addition, an oversized, free-standing, flat-screen television unit situated by the panoramic windows not only obstructed the city skyline view which we so desired but it also made the television useless as well from the daylight glare on our two glorious late-Spring sunny days with dusk and darkness only coming after 10:00 pm. Hopefully, some real-life guest feedback will serve to rein in the enthusiasm of the interior decorators on the hotel's next interior update.
