I went to Domus Hotel for an author's retreat. I had never been to Italy and I didn't know what to expect. The resort was clean and inviting and there are no words to describe how friendly and accommodating the staff was. The view from my room was breathtaking and I enjoyed waking up to a magnificent sunrise each day. The food was great and I enjoyed trying to learn the language. I look forward to visiting Italy again, and Domus Hotel will be my first pick for a place to stay while in Isernia.

Stayed at this hotel between our long terms stays in Puglia and Umbria. We wished we could have stayed a little longer! First of all, you can hardly beat the view. All rooms face the small mountain town of Bagnoli. If you were to hang out in the early morning or early evening on the balcony, you are not only treated to the stunning scenery, but the slow rhythms of daily life can also be heard coming up from the village. Serene. Naturally, all the beauty and peacefulness in the world does little good without a great staff. The gentleman who checked us in was amazing. He bent over backwards to make us feel welcome and he is genuinely interested in promoting the little traveled province of Molise. So don't let your lack of knowledge of the area dissuade you from booking here, even if it's just a couple of days. They also appear to have "relaxing" amenities for those who want to "get away". Spa, exercise, mountain air, free breakfast, etc. Finally, I'm not sure you're going to find a better value with regards to price. This was NOT a $75 dollar hotel room. I've paid twice as much for a hole in the wall in Los Angeles near the airport. If I am fortunate enough to get back to Italy, I will definitely look this place up for a couple nights of relaxation.

We stayed here for one night and had a good experience. The room was clean and spacious and had beautiful views of the town. The customer service was good as was the breakfast buffet we had. The building itself wasn't our taste but we were happy with our stay and would recommend it. We had a car and could speak Italian so that would probably impact on your stay as the hotel is just outside the main town

We stayed at the Domus in Bagnoli del trigno for 8 nights. A little off the beaten track and you need to have some Italian as very little English is spoken outside the hotel. The hotel is modern and has a good selection of spa activities. Set overlooking the town of Bagnoli the views are magnificent of the valley and mountains. The setting is very quiet and tranquil with golden eagles 🦅 that are enthralling. The hotel has a very good restaurant that has some amazing food, all local and at very reasonable prices. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and the rooms although quite small are comfortable. My only criticism would be the lack of variety for breakfast, we had the ame selection of continental meats, cheeses and pastries each day with no changes which does become very limiting. The restaurant and pizzeria offer some fabulous dishes very reasonably priced but the pizzeria only opens at weekends although there is another locally that is very good Definitely a return visit booked!
