We had our wedding here in December 2025 and it truly was the most incredible experience from start to finish. Jess is absolutely fantastic, having her just a call, email or message away made the planning feel so much easier and far less stressful. She was always so helpful, organised and reassuring, which meant we could actually enjoy the build up to the day rather than worry about every little detail. The wedding day itself went even better than I could ever have imagined. As someone who worries about everything being just right, to know everything was in the hands of such a capable and genuinely caring team, it meant so much. I was able to relax and be fully present, which is something I’ll always be grateful for. Jess and Abi went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was perfect, nothing was ever too much trouble and they were both so kind, calm and attentive. Jess was always a step ahead, and so prepared (greeting me at the end of the aisle with a cocktail in hand is such a lovely and memorable moment)! Abi seemed to understand exactly the type of person I was within minutes and made sure I had everything I needed before I even had to ask. The rest of the team throughout the day were just as wonderful, friendly, supportive and clearly so invested in making sure our day ran smoothly. Their attention to detail and genuine care really made a difference and helped create such a relaxed and happy atmosphere for us and all of our guests. We truly had the most amazing day and so many of our guests commented on how fantastic the venue and staff were. We will always look back on our wedding here with such fond memories. A huge thank you to Jess, Abi and the whole team for making our day so special – we couldn’t have asked for more🤍

“Friendly staff in a well maintained hotel”

We booked this hotel due to its location near Wentworth Woodhouse and proximity to the motorway. The outer stone appearance of the hotel is most attractive. The hotel was clean and well maintained. We booked this hotel due to its location near Wentworth Woodhouse and proximity to the motorway. The outer stone appearance of the hotel is most attractive. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a large room with a fridge. Dinner is served in a restaurant off the bar. The menu is short and basic though the portions are big. We enjoyed fish and chips, steak pie and cream pasta. I had cocktails from the bar. The hotel customers are largely business conferences or weddings or spa weekenders. An added bonus for us was the electric Tesla car charger.

Fri 6 March 1pm - Couple in our 60s BEN in reception phoned 9-30 in response to our email last night re booking lunchtime today. Professional with an endearing - touch of personality. Nice meet personally on rebooking another lunch on the way out. Welcomed into the bar restaurant by JULIE who sorted out our drinks and showed us to our table. A good menu selection. I went for the Steak Pie and my wife the pasta la creme crispy chicken. Both beautifully cooked, generous portions and welcoming to the eye. Pleasant personable interactions with JULIE AND YVONNE during service and clearance made us feel welcome individuals and not just customers. The staff really gel together as a team who work well together to give a lovely dining "experience " - and not just .... professional good customer service. Pleasant laid out roomy tables and surroundings. Comfy chairs. Nice atmosphere with good mix of couples, friends and families. Huge car park well kept grounds. Five miles and you are on your way through the heather covered hillsides of - the WOODHEAD trans Pennine pass. Great place to stay for touring from. Lots of reservoirs forestry commission woodland and walks. Sincere thanks to the team for a great few hours pleasantly spent in your company. Graham n Jo
