Very delightful check in experience. Front desk agent, Tea (Teh-yeah) was very welcoming. Our room with double beds had a nice view of the pool, although it was too chilly to use the swimming pool in December. Very much appreciated large screen smart tv with internet connection, and the comfortable beds, and the pretty spacious and clean bathroom We were informed due to the Christmas holiday, the M Lounge would not have the usual evening snacks so we were given three $10 vouchers for 3 nights we stayed there. The M Lounge remained opened for coffee, sodas, small bottles of water and also chips in the evening, and we brought our breakfast in there. Our room reservation also included the breakfast buffet which was pretty decent. The M Lounge server, Sugar, was very sweet (pun intended). Sweet was very attentive to us but not intrusive while we were having our breakfast in the M Lounge. I bought take out food from the bar on our second and third night respectively. The 2 Chicken sandwiches were a little dry but tasted okay, the Chicken wrap was pretty good. The Marriott Cheeseburger 🍔 I ordered on our third night was quite good, the salt-free French fries were much better than the overly salted French fries that came with the chicken sandwiches. My wife and I have staycationed there several times and we again enjoyed our 3 nights at this Marriott Hotel during this 2023 Christmas 🎄 weekend.

My wife and I treated our 2 granddaughters, aged 8 and 10 years old, to a 2-night staycation. We’ve stayed for staycations at this hotel several times before the pandemic, needless to say we loved this hotel. Picked this hotel again upon learning that their hotel lounge has finally reopened. Hotel remains in good condition, room is clean, with 2 comfortable beds, clean bathroom, smart tv connected to the internet, small fridge. Our granddaughters truly enjoyed the swimming pool for 2 days. Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant with average food, service from Chris who was the bartender/waitress was friendly. Our second night I ordered take out food from the hotel’s male bartender. Breakfast buffet is included in the price of the room with club lounge access. Buffet is better than average compared to the other Bay Area hotels offering “free” breakfast, however table service is quite disappointing. Sat at the table for almost 10 minutes and no one came to our table. I tried to call the attention of the waitresses, one of them just looked at me. We had to move to another table to be closer to the waitresses station to get noticed. Service could be better. We decided to have breakfast in the club lounge the following morning. Totally happy without the waitresses. Pool cabanas are free of charge during the week. I was told that pool cabanas cost $50 per day on weekends, and you have to spend minimum of $50 more for drinks and food. Pool cabanas used to be free 7 days a week on a first come, first served basis. We passed. Thankfully parking remains free of charge.

Room was very spacious but there were several tiny spiders in the room. They were on the ceiling, lamps and I found a couple in the bed. When we arrived in the room the window was open and no bug screen. Our booking included breakfast which was tasty and the staff was very attentive. We also had access to the guest lounge which was nice. There was an outdoor pool that seemed great but unfortunately we didn't have the time to use it. We stayed at the hotel for one night and in the morning the alarm woke us up way earlier than we intended to, probably from the previous guests. This has never happened to us before and the alarm should definitely have been reset by staff.
