Just a really nice, friendly, well-run and well-staffed hotel in a decent part of town with secure parking. A total gem of a hotel in this fabulous city. The staff throughout the hotel couldn't be more helpful or work harder to make your stay enjoyable. I have to give a shout out to lovely Ana in Reception, though all her colleagues were wonderful too. We have Cata and his ever-smiling colleagues in the breakfast room. So patient throughout one of the longest and most comprehensive breakfast offerings I've ever experienced in a hotel. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes from Seville City Centre. Such a lovely walk alongside the river which runs through the city. The hotel location cannot be faulted, with a Carrefour Express open all day until 11pm just steps from the hotel, well you have all you need. The rooms are large enough and the bathroom is substantial and well appointed with shower gel, etc. The gym is comprehensive and the pool area is great. All in all such great value for money and easily one of the most comfortable hotels I have stayed in. Bravo Hotel Monte Triana!

You can never feel certain of what you are going to get when you book a hotel overseas, so we were happy to discover this very nice hotel in the Triana district of Seville. The location is excellent. Situated in a quiet area, yet a short and pleasant stroll to the bustling San Jacinto district with its many restaurants, cafes and bars. A 15/20 minute walk from the hotel will take you into the busy city centre with its historic attractions. You can also walk along the river bank, just a couple of minutes walk from the Monte Triana. We were welcomed to the hotel, arriving late in the evening, by the friendly and helpful receptionist, Julia. Our room was well appointed with plenty of space for clothing. The bathroom was clean with a very good shower. There was TV, aircon, a minibar/fridge, a room safe and a coffee machine with pods provided free of charge. The hotel also boasts a pleasant room terrace with a swimming pool (too cold for me, but well used by other guests) and a well equipped little gym. The hotel provides an excellent buffet breakfast with a huge variety of offerings that should satisfy any guests. I filled out a questionnaire following our stay and pointed out that the shower tray in our bathroom was quite slippery. I got an almost immediate response from the hotel advising they had resolve this issue by installing an anti-slip mat in the shower, which shows that the management are responsive to suggestions for improving the hotel. All in all, a pleasant stay. I would be happy to book the Monte Triana if I visited Seville again.

Comfortable rooms, nice decor and nice pool open until 10pm with a great view of the city. Location is good, but not great. Comfortable rooms, nice decor and nice pool open until 10pm with a great view of the city. Location is good, but not great. It took was 20 minutes to walk to the Cathedral, which was a long walk in the heat. Positive: - Room was spacious with a comfortable king bed. Pillows were super nice. - Room had all the amenities, including coffee machine. - Bathroom was great with all amenities, hair dryer was great. - Parking was VERY tight, but it was located in the same building, which is a big plus for Seville. Cost was 18 euro/day. - Staff was nice, specially the downstairs bar staff. - Pool is in the rooftop and it is open until 10pm, which is not common. The view from the pool and rooftop bar is amazing, overlooking the city at night. - Breakfast was ok. There were a lot of hot options, fresh fruit and good selection of cheese. We had better breakfast in 4 star hotels, but was still a good option given that there are not a lot of options around the hotel. Negative: - We had a junior suite and there was a small living room in the bedroom, but the sofa did not turn into a bed. We had a 5 years old that had to sleep with us. It was ok, given that it was a king bed, but note that no extra bed for children were provided. - Location is good, but not great. Near Triana market, but a bit of walk to main attractions in the city. Was convenient, as we had a car and the streets on this side of the river are less narrow than on the old city.
