“May Holiday”

Everything was great at this hotel. Service, food, drinks and facilities. The only criticisms I would say are that a couple of the women's toilet doors didn't lock and some of the food dishes (like filled pasta) didn't specify if they contained meat. Overall was a fantastic trip!

We are just at the end of our holiday here. It has been our first holiday with our little girl aged 7 months. As a couple we have stayed in many all inclusive hotels across Europe. We have got many excellent things to say about this hotel! Firstly, the hotel itself is beautiful. The location is perfect, with most rooms overlooking the sea. We loved sitting on our balcony admiring the view. The hotel is spotlessly clean everywhere throughout the lobby and all main areason and the rooms are good. This hotel has a really nice way of blending modern with traditional in terms of decor. The food was always excellent standard. Very tasty and hot and the service in the restaurant was lovely. The bars are good, drinks are a good standard. My husband enjoyed the draught lager. Pepsi and Pepsi max on tap which I’m always relieved about - hate the cheap stuff you can sometimes get! The pool bar is great and overlooks the sea perfectly. There’s plenty of seating outside the bar and then a lovely terrace on the roof which offers beautiful views. There are a few small areas for improvement. Firstly, the pool is absolutely freezing. The coldest I’ve ever experienced. I understand the pool is not heated and so is very much dependent on the temperatures but I really think looking into heating the pool at this time of year would be well worthwhile for guests. There isn’t a lot on offer for children. A small kids pool and a small play area is about all. Wouldn’t recommend for children of primary school age really. The food, although delicious, doesn’t offer a huge amount of choice. We did find it to be perfectly fine as we are fairly adventurous eaters but for a fussy eater it might be tricky. I also would say that there isn’t a great choice for children. While we always found our room to be okay, the cleaning of the rooms isn’t as good as I’d usually expect in a four star hotel. Just a quick make the beds and sweep the floors it seemed. The tourist tax is extortionate. Just under €50 for us which is the most we've ever paid. This is not a criticism of the hotel as I don't think they set the amount themselves just something to be mindful of. We saw a large family pay just under €200. However, to further add to the positives.. there is a bus that comes twice hourly to take you to the local town, Ciutadella, which is beautiful and I thoroughly recommend! The bus is super cheap too - €1.70 per person! The small town Cala'n'Blanes is lovely and only a five minute walk. Recommend Es Replec for excellent food and Jimmy Hills for drinks and the sport! Overall a lovely stay and would definitely return, though probably once our daughter is much older.

“Relaxing Solo”

Excellent location and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean with a variety of activities available but the entertainment was only average. Excellent location and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean with a variety of activities available but the entertainment was only average. The pool was bloody freezing!! Food was lukewarm but overall a good variety and very well catered for us brits. TUI staff were brilliant and would highly recommend the trips offered. Would recommend this hotel for both service and value.

Just got back from here with the wife and my 1 year old boy. Overall happy with this hotel/ holiday. Friendly staff, decent food/ service. Rooms good quality and clean. Bus stop/ cash machine just outside hotel. Only downsides really for us were you have to pay for a safe which is about €40. Along with the tax which is roughly €40 too if you’re in a couple. So we were already nearly €100 down as soon as we checked in. The pool is FREEZING. Like ridiculously cold. Coldest I’ve ever experienced I think. Entertainment is mediocre. Nothing repeat nothing for kids. Was bingo every night at 21.30 and then some random chaps singing for abit and a few dancers. Evening time for tea starts at 1930 which is very late in my eyes. Can’t go in earlier. Overall would probably come back but avoid if you have kids and like swimming in the pool. 6/7 out of 10.
