Lovely foyer modern and refurbished but I think they forgot about the lifts. Rooms were large and clean, one very flat pillow had to use the cushions from the couch. Breakfast was gorgeous so much choice and the staff were really pleasant. Nowhere for people to smoke so everyone stood outside the main entrance which was awful for anyone entering the hotel and the hotel pool bar and grill was closed for 3 full days of our 7 day stay which was really disappointing. Nice beach although rocky to walk into the sea and an easy Walk to the bus station

The hotel is a five star and the rooms together with the breakfast is spot on. You have so much choice and for us , the nuts, fresh oranges/grapefruit were so tasty but the best was the freshly made rye bread with crushed advacado, smoked salmon topped with a freshly cooked egg and the option of mayonnaise over the top was amazing. Also, you get unlimited prosecco/coffee etc. Pastries are varied and the cold meat and cheese platters were more than acceptable. If you fancy full english as well then its up there. The design of the hotel lends itself to guests enjoying the view of the beach from the pool area balcony incorporating the pool bar and relaxation areas. Be mindful that there are only about 20 sun loungers on the balcony to get the sun and the sun only hits that area from about noon onwards so if its busy then it must be a bit of a lucky dip. We had the unfortunate experience of this whole area being closed from day 4 of our 7 day holiday and if that happens , there is nowhere to go to relax. The spa is like an enclosed bunker area with little natural light or views of the ocean/beach which is a shame. The harbour area to the right of the hotel (10 min walk) boasts some fine restaurants, however, the other way had comprehensive building work on the promenade which spoilt the view from any of the eateries along that stretch. The beach is clean but you have to allow for the stiff breeze if you want to spend time on the sand. The shopping area is acceptable. Our holiday was tainted by the closure of the pool area for guests as the hotel could not offer any alternative to help other than a free cocktail!! Not really enough. Overall, hotel standards high, location acceptable, but if the pool fails you have nowhere to go and if it is full then good luck trying to get a sunbed!

The room was fantastic. Bed a bit hard but ok. Fabulous views. Nice bathroom with excellent shower. Only sounds we occasionally heard was when room above us opened and closed their curtains, otherwise soundproofing was good. Service from all staff was exemplary. The room was fantastic. Bed a bit hard but ok. Fabulous views. Nice bathroom with excellent shower. Only sounds we occasionally heard was when room above us opened and closed their curtains, otherwise soundproofing was good. Service from all staff was exemplary. Everyone was happy to do everything they could to assist you. Restaurant buffet was very good at breakfast and dinner. Our only problem was the pool and pool bar were closed halfway through our holiday and information was very sparse.
