“Great holiday”

We stayed for a week and had an amazing time.. couldn't fault the food or room. The entertainment team kept us entertained all week especially Julio .. he loves his job. Would def recommend to friends and family . Would come back again without a doubt.

Hi 3 of us, came here for a week of sun, we were unlucky with the weather, but we're kept entertained throughout the day by the Animation team, never a dull moment when they were around. Julio is clearly a born performer, engaging with all guests, with a great sense of humour, & stated quite often how he lives his job. Our rooms were spotless, ceiling fans were a bonus, & all rooms had a private balcony. Staff were always enthusiastic with any concerns. Variety of food was always available. Would we return?? We are here now and as I write, I can’t begin to explain just how good this hotel is! Clean, friendly staff, exceptional Service ! Excellent large pool and the food is second to none!! They even have themed cuisine nights (Chinese tonight was impressive) !!! The bar has Amstel draught beer to help yourself but serves a range of spirits wines and cocktails as you order as well as soft drinks ! Rooms have been cleaned each day with fresh towels allocated - to say we have been impressed is an understatement ! Entertainment each night has been good .. it’s a cracking hotel - zero faults (even a regular free bus to the beach)!! Great for families !!!

Ah, the Mirador Maspalomas by Dunas, a place where the check-in process is a nocturnal adventure, and the wristband is your all-access pass to the exclusive 'I-can't-believe-this-is-uncomfortable' club. It's a magical land where the hunger games begin right after a long flight, and the only prize is a sprint to the restaurant before the doors close and the last crumbs are swept away. The rooms, oh the rooms! They are a masterclass in optical illusion, where the website photos must have been taken with a magical camera that adds square footage with every click. The ceiling fan, a relic from a time when air conditioning was but a dream, spins tales of a cool breeze that never comes. And the walls, so thin, you become an unwilling participant in a two-room-over card game, where every shuffle and deal is your background soundtrack. The pool area, advertised as a tri-pool paradise, turns out to be a splashy puzzle where one small pool leads to another via slide, and the third, a mysterious children's pool, remains an untouched oasis. The main pool, a lively water playground, where the only stroke you can practice is the 'dodge-the-splash'. And the cold tub, a supposed sanctuary for adults, becomes the newest kiddie attraction, with a water temperature that challenges even the bravest. The lifeguard, a vigilant overseer of sunbed alignment, seems to play favorites, creating a sunbed hierarchy that could rival any medieval court. And the entertainment, a hit or miss affair, where the seating arrangement is the ultimate game of musical chairs, but the music never stops and the chairs are always taken. In this hotel, every moment is an unexpected adventure, a story to tell, and a memory to laugh about later—much later. So, if you're planning a visit, brace yourself for a holiday that's less about relaxation and more about the anecdotes you'll gather for dinner parties to come. Bon voyage!
