“Tired hotel”

The hotel staff were very friendly and approachable. The room was adequate for the one night we stayed. We could put our cycles in a first floor room, getting them up the stairs was interesting. We did feel it was expensive, but this was Dinard on a bank holiday week end.

We stayed for 6 nights at this hotel, and as we have stayed in many small French hotels over the years knew what to expect: an oddly shaped room, strange décor and a small bathroom. That's what we got. However the room was clean, with a very comfortable bed and fresh sheets every day. Why stay here? The hotel is located in a great area, St. Enogat, 2 minutes from a lovely sandy beach. Right outside the front of the hotel is a little open space with a fountain and pretty flowers. There are a few places to eat and 2 bread shops to buy things for a pic-nic. (avoid if on a diet....wonderful cakes!). It's only about 10 minutes to stroll down to Dinard via a well-lit quiet street, or 20 minutes along the walk-way over the rocks. Also the girls in reception get 10 out of 10- friendly and helpful. It counts for a lot that when there was a fire in the night at a near-by shop, and the hotel alarms went off, they roused all the guests, evacuated the hotel and checked via the manifest that we were all safe. I would stay there again because of all that is to offer round the hotel.
