“Parador Mérida - well situated and friedly”
I enjoyed my 1st stay at the parador. It was not as expensive as I had thought. A bit old-fashioned but in a pleasant way. The hotel breathes old-time glamour. The bed was very good to sleep in and the breakfast was tasty and fresh. You could place an order for an omelette of your choice.

“A gem in the middle of town”
We used this as a stop over as we motorcycled across Spain and Portugal. Very clean, and welcoming with an ample breakfast option. An impressive and traditional building with stunning rooms. “Fantastic location for all the Roman sights & town”
Fantastic location for all the Roman sights & town. Room was large with a sofa & chair & comfortable beds & clean, nice view over the front garden. Very enjoyable stay & a lovely town.

“A hotel in need of an upgrade and a pricing review (downwards)”
This is a very average high priced hotel. Parador prices with none of the charm of other Paradores we have visited.
