Our apartment is centrally positioned on the top floor of one of Poblenou's well-designed modern residential buildings and provides a great opportunity to stay in a white, light filled penthouse apartment in this newly popular district of Barcelona. This apartment has a simple symmetrical plan and a modern interior, with wood, white walls and terrazzo flooring. The large open living space has floor to ceiling glazed sliding doors which lead directly onto a private terrace. The central high level terrace is the perfect spot for breakfast lunch or dinner and it faces directly onto the main element of the architects plan - a beautifully maintained secluded interior garden square with children's play area, paddling pool and 18 metre swimming pool. There are two bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms, a lounge and a separate kitchen. The bedrooms have 150 and 135 cm double beds and there are two 110 cm wide very comfortable click down sofa beds in the lounge. Most of the bed linen and towels are high thread count, high quality luxurious Egyptian cotton from john Lewis with equally luxurious pillows. This large apartment is equipped with air conditioning, central heating, free Wi-Fi and a free landline for national phone calls and incoming calls. The apartment has step free access from the street to the apartment and is served by two lifts. There is a day time concierge and public car parking is nearby so this apartment not only provides easy practical access for anyone using a wheelchair or a child's buggy but it also a great place to be once you are inside.  The apartment is both very quiet and very light and is located right next to the delightful tree lined Rambla del Poblenou which is filled with great local shops, cafes, restaurants, and is the heart and social hub of the area…. and best of all, a pleasant stroll down this charming wide walkway brings you directly to one of the city's best sandy beaches. Within a few minutes’ walk you will also find a public sports centre with a well-equipped gym, classes, swimming pools, low cost bike hire, and several supermarkets. A cleaning fee of 60 euros and security deposit of 300 euros will be requested on arrival.
