Hotel in good location, hotel clean and staff lovely, close to la mata beach and bus stop outside to Torrevieja, hotel room nice, bathroom lovely, view to the sea from balcony beautiful, food good and a lot of choice, bar staff chatty and friendly

All the rooms have a beautiful view of the sea. We were in a family room so it was spacious, had a fridge to keep your drinks cold. A big tv in the sitting room and one in the bedroom. The staff were friendly. The hotel was clean. There was a bus stop across the road from the hotel which took you into Torrevieja and into la mata. The food was okay and plenty choice. The only negative was there was no kettle in the room.

Decent three star with all rooms overlooking pool & sea. I’d suggest B&B as hotel is a little out of the way. Breakfast is usual hot/cold buffet offering. Basic, clean, comfortable rooms, comfy memory foam mattresses, no in-room tea/coffee facility, but small fridge. Hand soap, shower gel & 2in1 shampoo on the bathroom wall along with shaver point/hair dryer. Nice sea front promenade down to couple restaurants/beach bars. Downside - I booked this hotel as a family member needs gluten free & hotel advertises GF menu. There is no GF menu. On our 4 night stay there was a GF roll & a couple of muffins offered on our last day at breakfast. Chef was a friendly chap, didn’t mind crisping up a bit of bacon or doing some scrambled egg for our son. There is a nice Italian restaurant a short walk along the seafront from the hotel (to the left) with a good variety of GF items too (El Italiano), friendly service & great food. We don’t have accessibility requirements, but if you do, there was plenty of special provision in the form of hotel lift, various ramps & pool lift (photo attached). The pool looked lovely, but was baltic despite the sun, so we didn’t partake! Saw a fun children’s water splash area with slide & shooting water fountains; looked quite new. The pool area was laid with soft artificial grass, which was a nice change to hot tiles. Very limited pool bar food menu, decent selection of branded drinks at reasonable prices. We had a couple of teens who played pool & table football at the hotel, plus table tennis by the pool. Nice bar with friendly staff in the evenings, as well as some evening entertainment. Lots of Spanish guests at the hotel, which is a good indication. Pool towels can be hired, safe is rented via Reception, plus you can buy a ‘minibar package’ with beer, mini spirits & soft drinks, or a ‘romantic package’ if you like prosecco. There’s a bus stop directly outside the hotel for a short ride into Torrevieja & another bus a few minutes ride into La Mata on a Wednesday for the street market & lots of sea front restaurants, bars & nice beach. Transfer from Alicante takes around 45mins & 30mins on the way back.

“Very quiet area of torrevieja”

If you stay in this hotel, which was OK, be aware their is nothing much going on around it, if your not a keen walker you will need a car for definate. Bus stop outside hotel to take you to la Mata or torrevieja make sure you ask bus driver which way the bus is going before getting on. Good place... more

If you stay in this hotel, which was OK, be aware their is nothing much going on around it, if your not a keen walker you will need a car for definate. Bus stop outside hotel to take you to la Mata or torrevieja make sure you ask bus driver which way the bus is going before getting on. Good place for walkers but not a place for eating or drinking no night life, its in the middle of a urban area on the coast line. Not for us.
