“Main entrance closed”
The parador is being refurbished which doesn't impact on your stay apart from the fact that you have to use the car park entrance to enter and leave by foot. “A gem in the middle of town”
We used this as a stop over as we motorcycled across Spain and Portugal. Very clean, and welcoming with an ample breakfast option. An impressive and traditional building with stunning rooms. “Fantastic location for all the Roman sights & town”
Fantastic location for all the Roman sights & town. Room was large with a sofa & chair & comfortable beds & clean, nice view over the front garden. Very enjoyable stay & a lovely town.

“Old memories”
Our memories are better than ours experience now. Many things are related to the renovation. In the future that will be better ( I hope so )

“A hotel in need of an upgrade and a pricing review (downwards)”
This is a very average high priced hotel. Parador prices with none of the charm of other Paradores we have visited.
