We had a really relaxing time here. Staff are warm and friendly, breakfast is excellent with lots of choice, constantly replenished. The pool area is a nice chill-out zone. Rooms are a good size with super en-suite shower room. Location is peaceful while being just a few minutes walk from the harbour and the magnificent old town of Ciutadella. Would return in a heartbeat. Totally recommend.

“Nice hotel, good location, nice staff. Recommended!”

Booked here for a week's holiday and were very pleased with the outcome. We picked the Patricia because it was a 5min walk from the main square and gave easy access to the old town, but was sufficiently outside of it to allow easy access\exit and parking for our hire car. Booked here for a week's holiday and were very pleased with the outcome. We picked the Patricia because it was a 5min walk from the main square and gave easy access to the old town, but was sufficiently outside of it to allow easy access\exit and parking for our hire car. Finding it was a doddle and there's ample parking along Passeig de Sant Nicolau to leave a car. Check in was easy, done it a couple of minutes and the room was a reasonable size, not the biggest, but not tiny either. Bathroom a nice size and a big waterfall style shower. Breakfast was included and the dining area in the basement was well laid out, well lit etc and the food selection was a decent light continental style spread. Staff were excellent, always on hand to help and provide info about stuff where they could. Cleaning staff were lightning quick in the mornings as well. We were very impressed! Our room overlooked the pool area and whilst we didn't make use of it, it was always immaculately kept and appeared popular with other guests. It's walled in from the street as well, so nice and private. Location was generally quiet and no issues, as there's a police station literally a block away! However, if you're in a room at the rear of the building you might get some noise in the evenings from the boat club that overlooks the harbour behind. Although we only really noticed this at the weekend (Fri\Sat) and that was mostly because we like to have windows open. With those closed, it was no real bother. All in all, a nice place to stay, good location, decent price and nice people. We'd definitely use again if we visit Citudella again.

We’re spending 3 nights here & decided to book a suite so as to have a balcony to chill out at the end of a day. We were allocated Suite Mallorca & are very happy. You can feel that it has been recently refurbished. It is light and airy with a comfy king size bed, sofa, fridge, Krups coffee maker & safe. The bathroom is plenty spacious enough with a terrific shower, separate bath & fluffy towels. There are various vanity items if needed. If I could make one small suggestion, a couple of robes would be a great addition to the suites for relaxing in the room. The large balcony has a washing line, a pair of sun loungers & a couple of chairs with table & large parasol. At this time of year it’s a bit hot to sit on the balcony during the day, but get to 5ish onwards & the air is beautiful, with a very distant view down the end of the road of the sea. No more than 50 metres away is a small supermarket which is ideal for picking up bits for lunch if you fancy a change from eating in one Ciutadella’s plentiful nearby cafés or bars. What really stands out at the hotel is the warm friendly welcome you receive from any of the staff. On arrival we were given a relaxed guide regarding the hotel’s facilities & also of Ciutadella and it’s surrounds. I am Celiac & therefore need a gluten-free diet. The ladies in the breakfast room have been so helpful advising my options & checking ingredients, they are brilliant. The entire hotel is spotless & the swimming pool & mini-gym are great. All in all if you are planning a visit to gorgeous Ciutadella I strongly recommend this hotel.

Pros Nice welcome upon arrival. Good location for walk to the port/restaurants and the old town Steps or slopes down to the port - not a good location for people in wheelchairs though ( unless somebody really fit and strong is pushing the chair) or for people with mobility issues, but ok for pushchairs. Suites are enormous and spotless TV offers BBC - if that matters to you Loads of natural light and windows in our suite The Mallorca Lift right opposite us. Very fast and efficient. Our suite had a nice roof top terrace with sun beds and washing line Suntrap. Families welcome if you have young children Cleaning top notch in hotel itself (but pool needed more attention) Light airy breakfast room even though it was in the basement. Comfy seating with plenty of space. Good variety of milk options at breakfast. Cons Not good value for money, but guess you are paying for the convenience of the location. No ramp to access hotel - only steps. Swimming pool in very shady residential setting enclosed by high walls Reception Staff - some were super helpful & others disinterested in guests. Worse breakfast we had in Menorca (stayed in 5 different hotels on our recent holiday) Nothing cooked to order. Dry pastries. Even small doughnuts. were cut in half! That said staff were pleasant and regularly replenished food. Flies around the buffet, which is my pet hate. Food needs transparent covers. But orange juice was excellent. Not adult only - which is our preference. Noisy toddlers/crying and having tantrums in pool area.
