Situated just south of the-stunning Butterfly Valley, the sleepy hamlet of Faralya is an idyllic-retreat, where life continues at a relaxed pace.And yet this rural haven-lies just 9km from the popular seaside resort of Oludeniz, whose famous-lagoon beach is one of Turkey s most photographed images and just 21km from-the bustling harbour and market town of Fethiye. The international airport-at Dalaman is 74km away and is served by regular flights from all major UK-and European airports, as well as offering several daily links with Istanbul-for those making connections from further afield.In spite of Mandarin s-rural setting, a hire car is not strictly necessary, for there is a local-taxi and the dolmus service (3 6 times per day depending on the season),-which serves both Oludeniz and Fethiye, can be flagged down.
