“Very nice hotel”

Staff are so friendly with warm welcome..lovely food basic rooms but very clean..I would highly recommend staying here good value for money even though it’s 10 mins outside Granada there is a bus service outside the hotel.

“A Good Quality Hotel!!”

We booked online and this was the second time we had stayed at this hotel. Staff were friendly spoke very little English,but this suited us as we are trying to learn the language! Buses into the centre of Granada stop out side the hotel and in 10 minutes you are in the middle of Granada.

The advantage Los Galanes Hotel has is that it is near Granada. There is a bus service directly into the city at a reasonable cost, which is directly outside the front door. It allowed us to park our car free of charge and not worry about finding parking in Granada. The bedroom was small, and the bathroom was lacking in shampoo and soap. The bedroom was dark, as it had a small window overlooking a side street. The buffet breakfast was minimal with little apparent selection. We dined one of the 2 nights we stayed there, and found that a bottle of house red wine, normally sourced in a supermarket at less than 4 euro, was charged at just less than 20 euros on the bill. The price of accommodation we were expecting to pay, was inflated, as Iva tax at 18% was added to the room and meal price. It gave us an uncomfortable feeling towards the Hotel. We are unlikely to return to or recommend this hotel to our friends. The staff were helpful and friendly.
