“Excellent hotel and location”

Had a great week at the dreams lanzarote. Staff were so friendly & helpful from checking right through the week. We choose preferred quests & it was worth it. Had an excellent modern room with part pool part sea view. No noise except the sparrows in the morning! All amenities, fresh white towels... more

Had a great week at the dreams lanzarote. Staff were so friendly & helpful from checking right through the week. We choose preferred quests & it was worth it. Had an excellent modern room with part pool part sea view. No noise except the sparrows in the morning! All amenities, fresh white towels, good quality soap shampoo conditioner and body lotion. Comfortable beds and pillows. Meal choice was excellent and other restaurants to choose from if you didn’t want the Buffett. Lots of sun loungers & space around the pool or on an artificial grass lawn or a sandy area. Beautiful heated pools not overcrowded. Just a stroll from a beautiful beach in one direction & a lovely marina in the other. Lots of local shops and restaurants. Nothing negative to say. Would definitely recommend

First visit & after a hot sunny week at the dreams hotel in playa blanca , I’m rebooking asap ! Playa Dorada beach is so picturesque and a short 5 minute stroll from the hotel . We stayed on preferred b&b Tariff. Arrived around 9.15 pm , welcomed at reception warmly by staff , speedy check in also involved a cold cloth and equally cold glass of fizz .👍🏻 Shown to our room on the 2nd floor , room was clean spacious and had everything you need , shampoo conditioner body wash lotion …. it’s all provided and excellent quality too . Fresh dazzling white bed linens , bath sheets , hand towels facecloths bathrobes & slippers, hairdryer was great quality, I loved the wall mounted light up makeup / shaving mirror , especially when your short sighted 🤣 . the shower was spacious and powerful enough … lots of wardrobe space , I was elated as this was the first wardrobe I could actually hang maxi dresses in easily 👍🏻 … plenty of drawer & shelf space , mini bar restocked daily ( 2 beers, 2 soft drinks 2 water ) crisps , coffee & tea making machine as well , nightly turn down service with the lovely touch of chocolates on our pillows, it’s the little details 😀 I would have preferred a quieter location for our room , it was central & overlooked the main pool and it was noisy but it was over reception / bar area where the evening entertainment is nightly from 9.30 , we were offered a quieter room but stayed put as we didn’t go up to our room until after the entertainment had finished 😀 Entertainment was ok & varied … Breakfast was very good with all you could wish for to set you up for the day , my only disappointment was that on arrival we asked if we could get any food and were told yes the buffet restaurant is open till 9.30 as are the other restaurants, we opted for the buffet … the charge was €30 each ! For a limited selection at that late hour , however that was redeemed on our last day when we were given complimentary access to the same restaurant for lunch before our departure & the preferred lounge too until our departure around 5pm . Pools were heated lots of sun loungers around all pools our fave was sugar reef … so peaceful ☀️🕶️ The staff were exemplary and should be commended for their hospitality in all areas . We didn’t use the spa but a complimentary hour was included but we chose not to take them up on that , I think they’re missing a trick not allowing use of the indoor spa pool to guests unless they pay extra 🤷‍♀️.. get them in show them around punters will book in once familiar with what’s on offer , in fact this is the first holiday I’ve not used the spa or had any treatments 🧐 No guest information pack in the room , again a must I think in a quality hotel , we were too & fro from guest relations asking questions for a couple of days 🤣 with conflicting information from different staff members, B&B preferred guests … no beverages are included pool side , complimentary drinks & small selection of sandwiches , pastries , sweets, ice cream , soft drinks & hot drinks available throughout the day in the preferred lounge close to reception admission via your keycard , coco cafe doesn’t require keycard but is not complimentary on preferred B&B . We were out every night so can’t comment on restaurants within the hotel . Lots of fantastic places to eat within 5-10 minutes of the hotel though , new restaurants now open near the new Barcelo hotel , the Italian was lush , spice fusion just off the promenade near playa Blanca is a great restaurant for authentic Indian food , jumbo Chinese not so great , Tex mex on the marina was lush too . All in all a fab holiday & we would return in a heartbeat . First visit
