The gardens however open out unto the promenade, allowing access to the beautiful sandy beach, as well the nearby marina, local shops and restaurants.

I have just returned from a 7 night stay at Dreams, we are a family of myself my 2 daughters and 2 teenager grandchildren and wow where do I start describing just how beautiful this hotel is. From the moment we walked into reception we were made to feel so welcome. The rooms are beautiful and very very clean housekeeping do an amazing job . Food is the best buffet we have encountered and we have stayed in many good quality hotels so have plenty to compare it with, it is again so clean and well organised lot of choice ,not one mealtime were any of us stuck, loved the theme nights the Mexican was exceptional . If you like an afternoon cocktail you won’t be disappointed with the choice and quality, all are handmade in front of you no pre mixed at the dreams , lots of lovely comfortable seating areas to sit and enjoy these. The pools are lovely again kept very clean and tidy. The hotel sits directly on the seafront you can exit onto the coastal walkway through a gate from the pool area. I haven’t named any members of staff personally as I don’t want to miss anyone out because every single one ….. housekeeping, restaurant, reception, bar staff are all worthy of a massive thank you for making our holiday so wonderful. We have already booked to return for a 2 week holiday later this year can’t wait .

Great stay and facilities. Majority of staff very friendly and accommodating - special mention for Lola in the Sports Bar - always had a smile and nothing was ever too much trouble for her. Entertainment a little lacklustre, and interesting area to have it, but the hotel location in general is perfect. Playa Blanca is a lovely resort with something for everyone.

Our stay at Dreams was great! Check in was seamless and didn’t take too long which was ideal after a late arriving flight. The buffet has a good selection, and was open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We tried 3 of the speciality restaurants (Bluewater Grill, Sabor and Portifinos). Our favourite was Sabor, and the steaks were really nice. The hotel was around half full whilst we were there, so we never had to wait to get into the restaurant which was nice (they don’t offer the option to make reservations either). We were all inclusive which worked well for us. The pool bar was really nice, and we found that drinks (such as cocktails) were better there than at the main bar. One of our only complaints would be that the drinks varied so much between bars (when ordered the same drink), and not all staff knew cocktails that were on the menu so you didn’t always end up with the correct drink. There were plenty of sun beds and parasols around the pool, however the beach is a couple minutes walk away, and I don’t think the hotel has any sun beds there. The entertainment team were incredible! Have to give a special mention to Barbora. She led pretty much every activity we participated in, and did it with such enthusiasm. There was a wide range of activities on each day, ranging from rifle shooting to yoga on a paddle board. We would definitely recommend doing the walk to the markets and nearby castle that the entertainment team organised. There was also a cocktail making workshop and sangria making which were good fun!
